Who these terms are between

In this document, ZoZo, we and us mean the operator of chatzozo.com, which has run the site since 2010. You means anyone browsing or using it.

These terms apply together with our privacy policy, our cookie policy and the chat rules. Where the chat rules are more specific about conduct in a room, the chat rules are what a moderator will act on.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and adult content must be legal where you are. Using the site if you are under 18 is a breach of these terms and your access will be removed.

It is your responsibility to know the law where you are. We cannot advise you on it.

Acceptable use

You may not harass other users, publish anyone's personal information, advertise, spam, impersonate staff, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Any content involving minors is prohibited absolutely. It results in an immediate permanent ban and is reported to the relevant authorities.

You are responsible for what you transmit, including anything you broadcast on camera. Recording or redistributing another user's camera or private messages without their consent is a breach of these terms and may be a criminal offence where you are.

Your content

What you post stays yours. To show it to the people you are talking to we need your permission to transmit, store and display it, so by posting it you give us a non-exclusive licence to do that, limited to running the service.

That licence does not extend to selling your content, licensing it on to anyone else, or using it in advertising.

We can remove anything that breaches these terms without being asked, and we do not have to explain the decision in advance.

Our content

The design, layout, graphics, text and software of this site are owned by us or licensed to us. Copying or reproducing them outside what copyright law allows is not permitted.

Trademarks shown here that are not ours are acknowledged as belonging to their owners.

Linking to us is welcome. What is not permitted is presenting the site or the chat as your own, or framing it in a way that hides where it comes from. If you want to run our chat on your own site, there is a free and permitted way to do it on the webmaster page.

Moderation and termination

We may warn, mute, suspend or ban any account at our discretion where these terms are breached. We may also remove access without notice where there is a risk to other users.

Accounts here are free and carry no purchased entitlement, so a ban does not entitle you to compensation. If you think one was wrong, the appeal route is the forum or [email protected].

Third-party links and services

The site links to other websites and carries advertising for services we do not run. Those links are there for convenience and are not an endorsement. What happens on another site is governed by that site's terms, not ours.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for the conduct of other users or for content they transmit.

Content on these pages is general information and can change without notice. Nothing here is a promise that the site will suit a particular purpose of yours.

Governing law

Your use of this site, and any dispute arising from it, is subject to the laws of the United States of America.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. The version on this page is the one in force, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
