The site is bigger than the chat rooms. This is what each part is for, in the order most people need it.
The chat rooms
The main event. Nine topic rooms and twenty-two country rooms, all free and none requiring registration. If you do not know where to start, the main adult room is the busiest and the desi and language rooms are the fastest way to find people who speak yours.
The forum
Slower than chat and permanent, which makes it the right place for anything worth keeping. It is also where PRO status is earned, and where feature requests get argued over in public before we act on them.
The blog
Announcements, feature releases, and write-ups of incidents on the site when there is something users should know about.
Help and reference
Chat help covers getting in and fixing what usually breaks. The FAQ answers the short questions. Chat abbreviations decodes the shorthand, badges explains who is who, and user levels sets out what each account type can do.
Read the rules and the safety tips before you need them rather than after.
Telling us things
Anything happening in a room goes to the moderator on duty, not to email. They can act while it is still happening. Everything else goes through the contact page or the rate-us page.
