Tagging Users in Chat
Click a nickname and it drops into your message box, already tagged. No typing @username by hand and no getting it wrong.
Why it exists
Typed by hand, tags fail constantly. Nicknames contain numbers, mixed case and characters that are easy to mistype, and a tag that does not match a real nickname simply does not notify anybody. In a busy room your reply then reads as if it were aimed at nobody.
Clicking the nickname removes the guesswork. The tag is always exact, so the person you meant is the person who gets pinged.
Tagging several people
Click each nickname in turn: the tags stack in the message box, so you can answer three people in one message rather than three.
