When the Devil Becomes a Mirror

Hum Devil ko hamesha ek monster samajhte hain—
darkness mein chhupa hua, insaan ko barbaad karne wala.

Lekin agar Devil koi alag existence nahi,
balki humare andar ka woh hissa ho
jise hum khud accept karne se darte hain?

Har insaan ke andar anger hai, ego hai, jealousy hai,
aur kabhi-kabhi woh thoughts bhi hain
jinhe hum duniya se toh chhupa lete hain,
lekin khud se nahi.

Shayad Devil humein tempt nahi karta…
shayad woh sirf woh cheez dikhata hai
jo hum already chahte hain.

Aur asli darkness tab shuru hoti hai
jab insaan apni darkness ko pehchanna chhod deta hai.

Maybe the Devil isn't our opposite.
Maybe he is the mirror we refuse to look into.
