What do guys really go through after a break up?

Dharanesh

Wellknown Ace
When we are in the initial teenage phase, I believe we boys tend to be quite competitive.

There's no dream that seems impossible for us.

Even if we hit an important six in a local cricket match, we keep thinking about that six all night and imagine a day when we will hit a six on the last ball to make India win the World Cup, or take a crucial catch to secure victory in an important moment.

And as life progresses and reality hits, us guys face family situations, and often we just seek an escape.

Emotional support and societal peer pressure, you know, compliments from girls mean a lot to us, as they make us feel loved and appreciated.

We meet a girl, we have conversations, we fall in love, and then we start imagining every moment with her.

We emotionally surrender ourselves, but even a small thing can make us feel insecure.

We're afraid of losing her every moment. We start caring about how many male friends she has, what time she was online until at night, and gradually, our insecurities grow.

Despite good intentions, we make mistakes, and eventually, we end up breaking up.

Now, let's get to the main point: What do guys do after a breakup?

We guys suddenly go silent, take aimless long walks, wear the same shirt for a whole month, let our beards grow, cry at night, and then wake up in the morning as if nothing happened.

Now, instead of dreaming about hitting a six on the last ball, we wonder how to move on.

We don't think about being a hero and saving a girl anymore.

We think about how to control our emotions in front of our family.

People like me tend to get lost in the depths of life.

Every moment that used to be light-hearted turns into a profound contemplation of life.

We start embracing solitude as if we've fallen in love with it, and then we become afraid of the crowd of people.

People like me get engrossed in devotion to Krishna, and our love takes the form of devotion.

The person we used to love no longer plays a role.

This idea runs deep, and I believe it might not be easily understood by the majority.

Let me simplify: when we love someone with true selfless love, that person becomes a mere conduit or medium.

Our love is directed straight to the Divine.

Our love transforms into a spiritual form, adorned with beauty, and we connect not through materialism or physical features, but through our souls.

We start believing that our love, our soulmate, will find us on their own.

Then, our story is written by the divine, and we collide at an unexpected time and an unexpected place.

Now, our love is no longer dictated by our intentions; destiny decides.

Its eye opening naked truth. Scary, challenging but no, its not the end. Life is full of uncertainty and we should learn to move on. No other option. I know its not that easy but many are successful .Life is too costly to spend a minute in dark past. Enjoy it to its fullest every coming moment no matter how it unfolds.

Yeah, breakups can be tough, but they're also a chance for us to level up and become better versions of ourselves.

That's beautifully explained... honestly I don even know where to find a man who loves like that anymore... These days love feels more like a game , people move on too quickly( within a week) and after breakups instead of healing, they start talking bad about each other just to prove the pov...The purity you described... it's rare now....

You're totally right! It feels like people are more focused on winning the "relationship game" than actually building something real.

yaaas. You're totally right! Life's too short to dwell on the past. We gotta learn to let go and move on. It's not easy, but it's worth it. You're spreading so much positivity! What's your go-to way to shake off a bad day and get back to feeling good?

Nature per say is favorite. Just watch movement of bird sitting at your window. Watch kid playing. Watch poor labor couple enjoying their home made tiffin after hard work, siting at the corner of building. Do meditation n pranayama . Everywhere you ll find peach n love.
