What’s the weirdest thing you believed as a child?

I will go first....

I believed the moon followed our car at night… and I felt special, like it only followed me.:)

What about you?
What’s that one silly, strange, or totally random thing you believed as a kid?
A strange thing i believed in as a kid was if I did good to others, only good will happen to me
But as i grew up i realised reality is otherwise...

The world doesn’t always work on fairness—it works on chaos, chance, and choices beyond your control.
So, do good—not because it guarantees a good outcome, but because it keeps you good in a world that often forgets how

This hit hard. Reality isn’t always fair, but staying kind is still our power!!

Its not a childhood fear, for real I've this ocd thing, like taking repeated looks at the switches, whether they are really off or not. And then, I believed in rooh (soul/ghost whatever), I was even afraid to jump from a room to the other unless there were people or provided the lights were on. I slept with lights on lol. Just still my 4th grade: )

rn, i never had any 18+ misconceptions as a child, as when i came to know of these things, i had a clear picture of them, **thanks to my teachers, who hadn't skipped those lessons like most of 'em do**

Okay but honestly… double-checking switches and keeping lights on was peak survival instinct!! Ghosts don’t mess with well-lit zones:cool:

When I was a kid, I used to believe that my toys had secret lives when I wasn’t looking. Like, I thought they would throw epic parties at night with Snacks,Chocolates and dance-offs, and if I ever caught them in the act, they’d freeze and pretend they were just ‘sitting there’ all innocent. My favorite was the teddy bear, My Panda
