The oldest bridge in my town still stands across Cauvery..
Stood the wrath of Cauvery for many years.. seen the empty river too.. seen children and youths playing Cricket on the river mud when there is no water..
This is the place where 3 tributaries of Cauvery joins..
I learnt my swimming in river and their canals.. My dream is to have my home by the river.. so I can see the Sun glitters over the river water.. birds migrating in bunches in a structured way.. the gentle breeze. But surely there are problems with flies at evenings.
New oxide coating gives great colour hue to the pic on the fine morning with mountains on both sides and a blue sky with slight clouds and chill breeze while crossing it..
I ain't William Wordsworth standing on the London bridge over Thames but surely the old bridge over Cauvery in my town is as much beautiful..
