I don't deserves a proper goodbye ?
Sometimes, I wonder how cheap people can be. Not because they leave, but because they don’t even have the heart to say a proper goodbye before they do.I mean, how hard is it to say a few kind words to someone who was once a part of your life? Someone who cared, who waited, who made space for you in their little world. Does it really cost that much to leave with a little kindness?
I know, not everyone is meant to stay forever. People change, feelings fade, and sometimes, even the closest souls become strangers. I’ve learned to accept that. But what hurts is how easily someone can walk away, as if the moments you shared never meant anything.You don’t have to stay in someone’s life, but at least have the decency to leave without making them question their worth. A simple goodbye could have saved so many thoughts. A few honest words could have stopped a thousand unanswered questions. But instead, some people choose silence, leaving you to replay every conversation, searching for the moment you became so easy to forget.And the saddest part? You don’t even want them to come back. You just wish they had cared enough to leave properly. Maybe that’s what hurts the most about people. They want to be treated with kindness when they enter your life, but somehow forget that kindness matters when they leave, too.
I don’t expect everyone to stay. I don’t even expect everyone to love me. But I wish people understood that leaving someone behind doesn’t mean you have to leave them broken.Because sometimes, the most painful thing isn’t losing someone. It’s realizing that someone who once meant so much to you couldn’t even spare a moment to say goodbye.
