The Gold Rush: 49ers football

Talk about the most depressing and dishearten game . The Absence of Purdy and Bosa were felt big time and with injuries last night wasn't worth watching ,not blaming Brandon Allen ,The guy hasn't played in three years ,gets thrown into america's game of the week ,he suffered a broken finger two weeks back so was playing with a splint and brace .
CMC wasn't top of his game either last night with the fumbles , Our boy Kittle manages to get a TD and Moody gets the FG but still wasn't enough .
dont think i have ever seen games with so many flags and penalties being thrown around
the NINERS needs to suck it up and also kick the defense coordinater in a nuts

MAYBE the 9ers can win this game? :facepalm: we'll see, once again, on PAPER they should be able to walk right through the Bears, but the way this season is going, the 9ers couldn't walk THROUGH any paper.

:surprised: thats how I feel right now. Surprised!! the 9ers managed to pull off a convincing win over the Chicago Bears. In the Bears defense though, their head coach got fired in the middle of the season last week, so they had to bring in an interim head coach. But lets face it, the Bears aren't that good anyway.

Alrighty then, coming off of a Sunday win, the 9ers have a short week, and will be facing the division rivals Los Angeles Rams on Thursday. These two team have met 151 times over the years and the 9ers hold a 78-70-3 all time record over the Rams. Norcal vs Socal, Northern California against Southern California. Lets see how this plays out.

With a few days longer for rest, the 9ers will be traveling cross country to the "Sunshine State" Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins. These two teams dont meet often during the regular season, infact they've only played 15 games against one another since 1973. With the Dolphins holding an 8-7 all time record against the 9ers.

Oh it wasn't a pretty game at all, especially in one of the loudest stadiums in the league, but a win is a win. I really hope the team fired that asshole kicker Jake Moody on the plane ride back to San Francisco. :finger:

Alrighty then, we got the team making a trip cross country to play the New Orleans Saints. This has been a rather lopsided series with the 9ers having beat the Saints 50 times over the years and the Saints winning 27 of those games and tying 2 times. 50-27-2.

On the plus side, we no longer have Jake Moody as a kicker, so we don't have to worry about anymore ties based on field goals. :finger:

Not bad, not bad at all. Could have been better of course but considering a few key players on offense, George Kittle and Brock Purdy were out of the game and the back up quarterback took over, not a bad performance. Though the Saints were tougher than what the stats showed.

ok, finally after two road games and 2 straight wins, the 9ers finally get to play at home. They'll be facing off against division rivals Arizona Cardinals. These two teams have met 67 times over the years with the 9ers holding a 36-31 all time lead over the Cardinals. This will be a tough one, since both teams are 2-0, come Sunday, somebodies 0 has got to go.

well damn, that was a close game, came down to the last 4 seconds of the game to win that one with a field goal,(thank god they no longer have Muddy Moody as the kicker) but, a win is a win.

The 9ers now sit at the top of the NFC West Division. A Division that looks to be the strongest in the league right now with the 9ers at 3-0 and the other three teams at 2-1.

The rest of the league I believe have been put on notice and have to watch out for this division.

Got another home game this weekend. This time the red and gold will be facing off against the Jacksonville Jaguars who are coming off a win last week versus the Houston Texans. The Jaguars are one of the "new" teams in the league having joined in 1995.

The 9ers hold a 5 straight win streak against 2 losses to the Jaguars over the years.

Good news for the 9ers, star quarterback Brock Purdy will be back after an injury that kept him on the sidelines for 2 games.

Oh yaa! :Dull: the 9ers get to travel a couple hours south to Los Angeles and take over another stadium, apparently the last time these two teams met up, there were ALOT more red jerseys than blue in the stands. :giggle:

These two teams have banged heads since 1950, 152 games with the 9ers leading the series 78-71-3

A Thursday night game, so at least after this the team will get a long week of rest and practice.

WOW!!! :surprised: there is no way the 49ers should have won that game. Somebody made a deal with the devil. Two goal line stops that forced Rams turnovers in the last seconds of the regulation time, and again in overtime to win by a fieldgoal.

The defense of the 9ers turned it up just one more notch to get that stop. Un-fucking-believable.

On a side note, the fans once again showed up in Los Angeles and took over the stadium. Looked like a lot more red jerseys than blue there. :Like:

Looks like the 9ers will be facing off against one of their toughest tests to date, and with the injury plagued 9ers, thats saying a lot. The 9ers have a 21-7 all time record against the Buccaneers since the Bucs first came into the league back in 1977. This is one of those teams that the 9ers rarely play against, with 4 straight wins for the 49ers since 2019
