Reflections on Life and Moving On

Him: Are you happy now?

Me: (floods of smiling and laughing emojis)

Him: I haven't seen you this happy in a long time. You've changed.

"We are what we think. The thoughts that destroy us, no matter how good they are, try not to carry them around."

I just want to say — moving on doesn’t mean I’m truly happy.
Life is tough sometimes, and it’s easy to get stuck in our own thoughts. But that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten him — his words, his love, or anything we shared.

But when someone says they don’t want you anymore... why cry in front of them?
Why cry for someone who tried to push you away, broke your trust, and in the end said they don’t love you?

Why should I waste my tears on them? We should reserve our tears for those who see us, love us, and care for us – not for those who seek to hurt us.

So I’ll smile/laugh — even if it’s a fake smile/laugh, even if it feels like wearing a mask.

Because every smile/laugh, real or not, is one step closer to healing.

The realization, the acknowledgment, and the healing. It's all a painful journey. But in the end, it leads to growth, strength, and a brighter future. Keep shining dear!

This mindset can be a powerful tool for moving forward and finding happiness.
