This is part and parcel of our life, we keep on wearing masks. May be every day we change masks, to achieve something or to avoid something. That's so normal.
But then you across someone who is wearing masks to cheat on you, fun for them, cry for you. And they move on so easily, wear another mask to find someone else to cheat yet again. You try to expose but in return you get abuse and people don't believe you. You just left in pain of betrayal and loneliness, complete disaster. You trusted wrong person ... lesson learnt ... but it's too late may be.

Sometimes, the worst part of betrayal isn't losing someone, but realizing that your trust meant nothing to them. Still, trusting the wrong person doesn't make you foolish; it makes you human. May healing bring you the peace that their actions took away. ‍
