A man can handle a lot
Pressure Responsibility Failure Silence.

But there’s something different about the woman who becomes his peace.
The one he can be completely himself around.
The one who doesn’t compete with his strength but understands it.

A man doesn’t always need someone to fix his problems
Sometimes he simply wants someone beside him who makes the weight feel lighter.

Men is this true? Women what do you think a man really needs?

A real man needs purpose, self-respect, discipline, loyalty, courage and a good heart..
NB: it's my opinion

Oh, your post reeks with it. What man wants at such times. Its ego boost.

Maybe for some it is an ego boost, but I believe a mature man looks beyond that; he wants a genuine connection, mutual respect, and someone who values him for who he is, not just for how he makes her feel.
He wants to be valued for who he is - it is true, but he values himself based on how he is perceived.
If you observe keenly, this is how all men function, it is not always about how a partner thinks of him, but it could be how his friends and family treat him, or the materialistic things he has in comparison to others. They can compete even about whether the weather is too hot or just hot. One of the funniest brags I have heard from men is how much alcohol they can consume without getting sloshed, as if that is some worthy achievement.

Haha I agree that some men measure their worth through comparison status or how others perceive them But I think that’s more about human insecurity than men alone Real confidence is when you no longer need to prove you're better than someone else You know your worth without needing an audience to validate it. ❤️

Theoretically yes, but in the practical world, we all compete. Men are just more visible doing it than women; it's part of nature.

The ones who seem as if they are not competing are not transacting with society.

Self-confidence has its worth and it is true, yet when challenged by another, one will compete and try to prove that they are better in at least one aspect than the other.

You have a point Competition is a part of human nature especially when our identity or abilities are challenged But I think there’s a difference between competing to improve yourself and competing just to prove you’re better than someone else True confidence isn’t about never competing it’s about knowing when you don’t need to What do you think?

A sage advice which I believe is very helpful,
"Never be too certain of yourself"

Self confidence is a mediocrity celebrated in popular culture. I am sorry but i cannot agree that a self confident person is something great.
Greatness is perceived in action not in attitude.
A man who admits to the weight of trying to manage something and not been able to do it by himself is more real and true to a woman.

I see your point❤️ Confidence without action can easily become arrogance while admitting your limitations takes honesty and courage Perhaps true strength lies not in pretending to have everything under control but in knowing when to stand firm when to ask for help and when to admit you don't have all the answers After all character is revealed more by actions than by appearances What do you think?

To err is human.
To fall and get up again is courage.
Admitting to not knowing everything is maturity.
To ask for help is humility
To keep trying is perseverance.
To not give in when life is difficult is resilience.
and when life seems overwhelming, to hug a loved one and cry is love. That man is real.

What a beautiful perspective ❤️ A real man isn’t someone who never falls or struggles he’s someone who has the courage to be human the humility to ask for help and the heart to show his vulnerability And perhaps the greatest strength is knowing that even the strongest shoulders sometimes need a place to rest Thank you for sharing this thoughtful perspective.

Being strong all the time can be exhausting. Sometimes, all a person needs is someone who makes them feel safe enough to let their guard down. ❤️‍❤️

Absolutely ❤️ Real strength isn't about being strong every moment it's about having someone you trust enough to be vulnerable with Sometimes the safest place in the world is simply a person who lets you be human without judging you. ✨
