Looking in the past ...

It's easy to say ... Never look in the past, once gone is gone. But is that so? We all keep going in past for some or the other reason ..

Why you go in past? Some options ... not all ...
1. To remember someone beloved, of course now not part of your life
2. To remember some incident which you would want end differently
3. To remember your success in past which you feel proud even today
4. To remember how badly you were treated that time, still you want revenge
5. To analyse how people change their behaviour
6. Any other reason - which you may not be able to reveal

Most common answer would be - to learn from the past - but not looking for this answer. I assume that's what everyone does.
So what's your answer friends?

I don’t think looking back is always about wanting to live in the past. Sometimes we revisit it because certain moments still carry meaning good or bad. The good memories remind us what mattered, while the painful ones remind us how much we’ve changed. For me, the past is worth visiting, but not staying in!!

I visit the past, but I don’t live there. Some memories are worth revisiting; some are best left behind.
