Little things

Sometimes, it's not the big, grandeur, juicy gestures that makes an impact. It's the small, little, tiny, petite ones that makes a person happy (ahem take your mind out of the gutter :p).

Those little things a person does that comes from the heart - in a virtual site many has flagged and asked me what is the purpose of asking if someone ate, drank, or had proper sleep, or if they want a coffee I made or a dish i made - it's my way of saying that you matter and if you were by my side I would have happily shared those moments with u.

Lots of people fail to express their feelings but they never fail to appreciate these small gestures, even if it's a heartfelt text you send them right in the morning when you wake up or while u go to sleep. These things go a long way when people are miles apart and chatting through a screen.

The most important thing we can give another person is our time. Be it the time we spend with them listening to their tantrums, flirting with them, sexting with them, calling them and listening to them make goofy voices, be it anything! No matter what, that's the greatest thing a person can offer.

Sometimes, that's just what we all need. To be heard, to have a meaningful conversation, a genuine affection, a safe space where we can be ourselves.

And the truth is, we all don't need grand, huge, plumpy gestures to feel special. The small things are enough for a man to feel special ❤️

So beautifully said . The little things checking in, listening, remembering often say “you matter” louder than any grand gesture ever could.

In a world chasing grandeur, you celebrate the profound beauty of little things. Every moment shared, every check-in, every goofy laugh,it's the purest expression of time and affection. True intimacy thrives in the quietest, most genuine connections.

Your words are a beautiful reminder of what truly matters

It's a blessing if the ones you keep close also resonate with this

Ohooo... Nnit ipo araanaavoo pettann ninnod vann kazhichoo kudichoo nn oke choyche???

Honestly, this is so true. Sometimes the smallest gestures carry the biggest feelings. A simple “Did you eat?”, “Have you slept?”, or “Take care” can mean more than a thousand words. It’s never really about the gesture itself, but the thought, time and affection behind it. At the end of the day, we all just want to feel remembered, valued and cared for. ❤️

Well this might be relatable to many of them :giggle:

I think this resonates with me a little more than I can put into words... ❤️✨

Life has taught me that not everyone has the luxury of being physically present, and sometimes, all we have are little moments exchanged through a screen.

I've had days when life was so overwhelming that a simple 'Did you eat?' or someone remembering a tiny detail about my day meant more than they probably realised.

I'm someone who values effort, presence and the little ways people make room for each other. I don't expect anyone to move mountains for me. Sometimes, a little consistency, an unprompted message, a genuine conversation or simply knowing someone thought of me in the middle of their otherwise busy day is enough to make me feel seen.

Perhaps that's what affection really is. Not always loud, not always elaborate, and certainly not measured by how much someone can do for you, but by how thoughtfully they remember you in the smallest corners of their day.

We all have our own battles, responsibilities and exhausting little worlds to return to. Choosing to make time for someone amidst all that is no small thing.

And honestly, I think there's something incredibly intimate about being remembered in the ordinary moments. ❤️✨

Small small gestures. Small things that hold a large value saying that you matter :heart1:
