I wonder how many times we’ve been someone’s almost.

Someone they almost stayed for.
Someone they almost chose.

Someone they almost called back.

There are people who were once a very important part of our lives, and then somehow became strangers with memories. No fight, no hatred, no dramatic ending just distance, and then silence.

And maybe that’s the strangest thing about people we can mean everything to someone at one point and almost nothing a few years later.

I once read something that stayed with me some people are chapters, not the whole story. And maybe that’s why not every ending needs an explanation.

Sometimes people leave because their part in your story is simply over.

But I also like to think that somewhere, someone remembers a version of us that even we have forgotten. Maybe the way we laughed. Maybe a conversation we thought was ordinary. Maybe one completely insignificant evening that meant something to them.

We may never know whose life we quietly became a memory in.

Okay, I’ll stop being philosophical now. I’ve already overthought enough for one night.

Love how sweet you are.

Life just moves in phases; nothing really ends.

It doesn’t matter who we met, who stayed, or who left.

We are who we are because of those experiences. Just get to know yourself and love who you are; don't overthink it.

Aww, I really like the way you put that. :heart1:
I guess some people are meant to be chapters, not endings. And yeah, maybe the best thing we can do is appreciate what each phase taught us and keep moving forward.
Still learning not to overthink everything though

Funny how life turns almosts into memories and memories into stories we rarely tell. Maybe some people leave not because they meant less but because their chapter had already said enough. ❤️✨

I love that perspective. ❤️ Maybe not every chapter needs a continuation… some are just meant to leave us with a story worth remembering. ✨

Some people don’t really leave our story… they just stop appearing in the newer chapters. Their page remains, even when we no longer turn back to read it.

I love that thought. ❤️ Not every page needs to be revisited to still matter. Some memories can simply exist quietly, without needing a place in our present. ✨
