Dear Chatzozo Admin Team @Administrator @Hades @JUPITER
I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the recent mute and kick actions taken against my ID.
Initially, my ID was muted for 2 hours, which I accepted without objection. However, I was later kicked again, this time for a whole day. This feels completely unjustified.
What’s troubling is that certain Tamil room admins, who do not understand Hindi, enter Hindi rooms and take action without understanding the context. Meanwhile, actual abusers continue to exploit the system by constantly changing guest IDs and hurling abusive messages, often targeting users’ families. Shockingly, these repeat offenders continue to remain active while genuine users like us face penalties for merely reacting.
Whenever we need moderators to take appropriate action, they’re nowhere to be found. But the moment a user responds out of frustration, someone appears and punishes the responder instead of the actual offender. Is this your moderation policy? Do you truly consider these serial abusers as your loyal users, while punishing those who try to engage in decent conversation?
If a person tolerates constant abuse, blocks multiple IDs, and finally reacts after being mentally exhausted, does that make them wrong? Is defending oneself now considered harassment?
Let’s clarify:
1. I did not abuse anyone.
2. I certainly did not harass anyone or leak anyone’s number or content.
3. I have not mentally tortured anyone’s family.
What exactly are the grounds for this mute and kick?
I always try to maintain my patience, ignore, and block abusive users. But there’s a limit. If you're having a normal conversation and suddenly an abuser jumps in, it’s only human to feel irritated and respond. Still, I kept my responses witty, not abusive. You’re welcome to ask any regular user of the Hindi room whether I’ve ever violated community standards.
This decision was clearly unfair. I accepted the initial 2-hour mute, but kicking me again without proper investigation was unjust. I'm also attaching the screenshot for your reference.
I hope this issue will be reconsidered seriously and that more reliable, fair moderation practices will be put in place in the future.
Sincerely,
PerplexityAI
