Five months later...
It was now 7th April and spring was in full bloom, the trees blossoming and the meadows full of flower's and the bird's sang their songs. Later that day just after nightfall Gabriel and Lucy were outside walking in the meadow of rose's as the moonlight glowed bright in the clear night sky, after several minutes they sat on the ground and then layed down amongst the rose's and talked a little.
"I enjoy coming to the meadow during spring" said Gabriel, "I love rose's, they look so beautiful and their aroma is intoxicating" said Lucy. "Hmm indeed my dear, it reminds me of where I came from before I moved to this village" said Gabriel, "where did you live?" Asked Lucy as she stared up at the stars as they sparkled in the night sky, "I used to live in a village on the east side of England" said Gabriel.
"Why did you leave?" Asked Lucy, "I had no choice but to leave my home after what happened..." said Gabriel, "why?" Asked Lucy, "I would rather not talk about it my dear.." said Gabriel.
(Flashback Scene)
A long time ago in a sleepy village in eastern England...
Gabriel and his sister Angel were surrounded by an angry mob after the villagers had learned of their secret, "vampires!" Said the village's mayor. "Kill them!", "burn them!" Said the villager's, Gabriel stood beside his sister Angel and kept her away from the angry mob, "please do not harm us, we have done nothing wrong.." said Angel, "you slaughtered our sheep and cow's!" Said the farmer.
"We have to eat, it was either the animals or the people in this village" said Gabriel as the angry mob moved closer towards them. "Please let us go, we shall leave the village..." Said Angel as she stepped out from behind Gabriel, the angry mob shouted as they began to lose their temper, "we just want to live in peace..." Said Gabriel, Angel stepped forward and held out her hand towards the mayor.
Just as Angel was about to plead for the mayor to show mercy and let them go, an ear piercing scream filled the street, "Angel no!!" Said Gabriel as he watched her fall to her knees. "Who fired that arrow!" Said the mayor angrily, the angry mob became silent as Gabriel held Angel in his arms, "I am sorry brother.." said Angel, "it was not your fault sister.." said Gabriel, moments later Angel's body turned grey and then burst into dust as the angry mob watched silently.
(Present Day)
"So you lost your sister Angel..I am sorry my love" said Lucy, "it is alright my dear, it was a long time ago.." said Gabriel as he gently brushed his hand across the rose's beside him.
