  • A soft whisper carried by the evening breeze,
where hearts wait beneath a sky full of stars.
Time slows, and every moment glows
with the gentle warmth of quiet longing.

Like moonlight shimmering on still waters,
dreams float softly between the silences—
a tender promise held in every sigh,
an endless hope wrapped in love’s embrace.

One of my favorite songs ♥️ :inlove:

Especially the way Chitra Amma sang the word Varnam  it carried a magical echo straight to the heart ♥️

True, but it's not just the word varanam actually it's a carnatic ragam called Mohana Varanam.

"Ninnukkori Varnam" is Ilaiyaraaja’s musical magic — where Mohanam raga dances with synth and rhythm.
Chithra’s voice glides like silk, carrying both classical grace and playful charm. The lyrics echo a bold yet tender pen kaadhal confession— teasing, tempting, and true.

I love this track so much. The smooth groove, the light but juicy synth, the expert delicate vocals, the jubilant strings and winds, the drum breaks going SO HARD - it's magnificent to listen.

And I bet no one can find a song that perfectly combines all these elements — a classical Carnatic varnam base, modern Western instrumentation, soulful vocals, cinematic drama, and lyrics that capture the feeling of longing and devotion towards her love.

A melody where the past and present hold hands — and hearts follow.
    Kannalane....

In your gaze, I find my world,
A tenderness so deep, it's unfurled.
Your eyes, they spark with a love untold,
A story of passion, both soft and bold.

Like stars that shimmer in the night,
Your presence fills me with delight.
Every glance you cast, every word you say,
Makes my heart dance, swept away.

In the silence, your eyes speak,
A language of love, tender and unique.
I yearn for your touch, your sweet embrace,
For in your love, I've found my place.

Each moment with you is a treasure rare,
A dream I wish to forever share.
Oh, my love, I can't help but say,
You’ve captured my heart in every way.

True love is like the moon—quiet, steady, always present, even when hidden behind clouds. It doesn’t demand attention, yet it captivates, lighting the darkest nights with its soft, unwavering glow.

Love doesn’t burn bright like the sun; it’s gentle, subtle, and enduring, growing stronger with time. Like the moon’s phases, it evolves, sometimes distant, sometimes near, but always there, quietly guiding us through the shadows.

True love is the pull between two souls, a force that never fades, no matter how far we drift. It’s not in grand gestures but in the quiet moments, the shared silences, the gentle warmth that lingers even when the world is still, reminding us that some connections are written not in time, but in eternity.

A shower of love in the unknown. Here I stand, in the rain, drenched in my own longing. I’ve been ready to give it all—my heart, my soul, my time—for the love I so desperately crave. But the universe, it seems, sent me someone who isn’t willing to offer the same. I give, I give, and yet I stand in the rain, waiting, yearning for the love that never comes. The pain of loving so deeply and so fully, only to receive so little in return, is a weight I carry with each drop that falls. The rain doesn’t stop, and neither does my heart’s ache. Love was meant to be a mutual exchange, a dance where both hearts move in sync, but instead, I’m left out here alone, giving all I have, waiting for something that might never be returned. It hurts. It hurts to love so much and feel so little in return, but even in this storm, I’ll keep loving—because love, even unreciprocated, still makes me feel alive.
