These days, I no longer worry about how the world sees me or what place I hold in the eyes of others. I have stopped trying to prove myself to people who may never truly understand me. Because, for me, my little world begins with you and somehow ends with you. What matters most is not how the world looks at me, but how your eyes see me and how deeply your heart understands me.
I don't feel the need to explain myself to everyone. I don't need to stand before the world and prove who I am. If there is one person before whom I want to be completely myself, it is you. Your understanding means more to me than the opinions of a hundred others. If you can see the person I am beneath all my words and silence, then I don't need anyone else to understand me.
You are like someone standing before the sea—and I am that sea. You can look at me for hours and still find something new in my waves. Sometimes I may be calm, sometimes restless, sometimes carrying storms deep within me. But no matter how many times you return to my shore, I hope you never feel tired of seeing me. And just as the waves keep reaching for the shore without ever getting tired, a part of me will always find its way back to you.
Time may pass. Distance may grow. Seasons may change. But some people become so deeply woven into our hearts that neither time nor distance can truly erase them. You have become that kind of person to me. Somewhere inside me, you still live quietly... in my thoughts, in my memories, and in all the little feelings I cannot always put into words.
Maybe that is what makes some connections so beautiful. They don't need to be close every day to remain deep. They don't need endless conversations to remain alive. Like the sea and its shore, there can be distance between two hearts, yet something invisible keeps bringing them back to each other.
The world may have its own opinion about me, but if your heart still knows who I am, that is enough for me. I never wanted to be understood by everyone. I only wanted to be understood by you... and perhaps, somewhere in your heart, to remain the sea you never grow tired of returning to.
