Have you ever wondered who the first person to die in the world was?

Not the first person to die of old age.
Not the first person to die in a war.

But the very first human death.

According to the Bible, it wasn't an accident.

It was a murder.

And the victim was Abel — killed by his own brother, Cain.



Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve.

One was a farmer.
The other was a shepherd.

When Cain's offering was not accepted while Abel's was, jealousy began to grow inside him.

Then one day, Cain took Abel into a field…

and killed him.

God later asked Cain:

“Where is your brother Abel?”

Cain replied:

“I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?”

But Abel's blood had already become the first cry of a life taken by another human.

The story doesn't just tell us about the first murder.

It begins with something much more familiar:

jealousy → anger → hatred → violence.

And perhaps that's why the story has survived for thousands of years.

I thought the first death was some old man due to his illness but I shocked after knowing it's a murder bcz of jealousy

Just an overthinking before bedtime...then I read it on internet and got to know it's murder...but initially I thought it would be some old man or woman due to illness or age concern but it's not...so just posted about it
