The Solitary Oak

ShyEyes

Novice Sprinter
Deep rooted in the open field,
it stands against the sweeping frost,
with ancient barks that never yield
to summer calm or autumn lost.

It does not race the younger pine,
nor measure height against the sky
it draws its strength from deep design
as quiet seasons hurry by.

When heavy winter strips the green
and leaves its branches bare and gray,
it holds the quiet grace unseen
that blooms again another day.

For quiet power does not cry
or boast of every leaf it grew;
it learns to let the tempests try,
and simply stands the winter through.1000209112.jpg

True strength needs no applause
it stays rooted, survives the storm,
and waits quietly for spring.

Endurance and perseverance are great virtues that an old tree teaches us.

Do not be sad for leaves lost; be strong so that you can bear fruit again.

Quiet power doesn't need to boast... standing strong through every storm is true strength. Absolutely breathtaking poem! ✨"
