The Gold Rush: 49ers football

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that is what I call a GOOD win, the 9ers steamrolled their way through the Colts with impunity on their way to the number one seed and bye week in the NFC.

They have to face the Bears and then the Seahawks in there last 2 games in order to get the number one spot in the AFC, this game was a damn good start.

Got a short week for the Red & Gold when the 9ers take on the Chicago Bears this Sunday at home.

The 9ers have played against the Bears 70 times over the years, starting way back in 1950.

In the playoffs the Bears have never beaten the 49ers, of course this isn't a play off game this weekend, but its certainly going to be played like one, since the Bears stand in the way of the 9ers taking the #1 seed in NFC playoffs.

The 49ers hold a 36-33-1 all time record against the Bears.

Holy shit!! talk about the "game of the week" it LITERALLY came down to the last 3 seconds of the game. Back and forth it went all game long, both teams offenses were on fire, their defensive units? Not so much. I can't remember the last time I watched a nail biter like that.

Last game of the regular season here folks. The Red and Gold take on division rivals Seattle Seahawks for the chance to become Division Champions and the number 1 seed in the NFC for the playoffs.

Alot on the line here, if the 9ers win, they'll have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, a first round bye, AND the Superbowl will be played this year in their home at Levi Stadium.

damn, that was a shitty way to end a season. On the bright side though the 9ers are still in the post season, just not the number 1 seed, and don't get the first round bye next week. They're officially in the playoffs now. Lets just see how far they can make it. If you take into account the decimation of the team this season its actually quite remarkable they made it THIS far.

The red and gold have made it into the post season. This weekend the 9ers travel cross country to the shittiest fan base in the league to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. These two have met 37 times over the years starting back in 1951 with the 9ers leading the series 21-15-1.

The Red and Gold advance to the divisional round of the playoffs. With 38 playoff wins and 30 divisional playoff appearances the 49ers now hold the record for the most in the NFL.

Divisional round of the playoffs, the 9ers travel north to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Its rarely ever a pretty game when these two meet. Just have to sit back and watch, and pray like a hooker on Sunday she isn't pregnant.

holy crap that was a bad game, REALLY bad. The 9ers imploded with this one, good thing I didn't watch most of it since I wasn't feeling well. It was a topsy turvy season to say the least with all the injuries this team has endured throughout this year, frankly its amazing they made it into the second round of the playoffs, so thats always a winning season. I didn't even see the opening kickoff, so yeah. lol I was pretty out of it. Glad I was too, i'd have been yelling at my tv. :sarcasm:
