When we propose to some one we gets two type of rejection one is the hard way and other in the soft way
I will go with the soft way first when

You are too pathetic and i can never love you

Sometimes the rejection may be because of disinterest

Rejection comes in two flavors: vanilla- confusion and wasabi- heartbreak. My way, I just eat it and move on coz at least m not in the “seen-zoned” gang ..That’s a whole different level of emotional ghost pepper

For me rejection should never be brutal from the start... like if someone proposes to me, I'd go with the softer way first, explaining that I see him only as a friend or nothing more... Sometimes people take harsh words as a challenge or as an insult, and that can lead to unnecessary drama or even revengeful behavior!! So I believe softness keeps things under control and makes the person understand gradually...But yes if he keeps pushing after repeated denials, then I won't hesitate to take a stronger step... Cuz I really believe that softness is kindness, but firmness is also necessary when limits are crossed...
