Yes you are right. But it's happen only for love marriage. In case of arrange marriage I never seen or even heard also that someone looking for a girl who is elder. Have you seen?

Once the womenhood start earning more than men and spread their excellence, the wheel will turn in favour of woman dominating ! That is when our society will accept the fact of marrying older women and men will turn into house husbands ! Both your questions answered ! :giggle:
 
Nothing wrong in general but a few cases in specific.

Case 1.

As per Hindu marriage ceremony the priest says the bride to touch the feet of the groom, she touches the feet after a lot of reluctance but the groom faces the brunt on his first night

Case 2.

If she is talking to her parents and you butt in, she can easily stop you by saying don't interrupt when elders are speaking.

Case 3.

If she slaps/shouts, you cannot do thae same, even if in a fit of rage as she is elder.

Case 4.

I am not sure but if she is the bossy type then your salary goes to her and she gives you pocket money.

Case 5.

Neighbours & relatives will pass comments, they always do.

Case 6.

In case you cannot satisfy her you have no excuse. “I am getting old” won't do.

Case 7.

You cannot forget to lock the door or switch off the light when going out. Same statement as in case 6.

Case 8.

There can be a thousand more specific cases but in the end, it's nothing too bad that can't be handled.

There are some advantages too

You can give her more birthday bumps on her birthday. ;)

Case 2.

You commit a mistake and can say ‘I am younger so you need to help and teach me’.

She can give better advice as she is more mature, though in any case, women are more mature than men.

We are in the times of women empowerment. And I see no reason why this should not happen. In fact I happen to know a few couples where this is the case.
