Father: "Because your mom scolded me today for not bringing her favorite chocolate. I forgot in the rush."
Daughter: "So what, Daddy? She scolds me too, even for my tiniest mistakes."
Father: "But you're a child, sweetheart. It's understandable. I'm a grown man, and still she scolds me."
Daughter: (smiling softly) "Oh Daddy..... you're still her first and favorite child. That's why she scolds you too, even though you're all grown up."
Father: (laughing warmly) "Yes. that's also a fact."
