Wired information about photoelectric effect

Once, while sitting at my study desk, I noticed a sentence in my chemistry book: 'The photoelectric effect is the emission of electrons from a material's surface when light of sufficient frequency shines on it.'
A doubt popped into my mind: Why hasn't the Earth been destroyed after millions of years of absorbing sunlight? Wouldn't the Earth's atoms lose all their electrons due to the photoelectric effect caused by sunlight (photons)?
A few days later, while finishing the chapter and starting 'Chemical Bonding,' I found my answer: 'Chemical bonding is the attractive force that holds atoms or ions together to form compounds. Atoms form bonds to achieve a stable electron configuration, typically matching the full valence shell of a noble gas (the octet rule).'
So, the explanation is that every object wants to achieve stability like noble gases. Once a few electrons are emitted, the process stops because the atom's nucleus holds onto the remaining valence electrons with a much stronger net positive force."

Then why don't you stop after becoming stable in your life why are you chasing those people/ things that gonna destroy you ???

Atoms know when it achieves stability, but we humans are still figuring out what that means. 6th sense play a vital role. We humans are like the uncontrolled nuclear fission reaction, where one nuleus (achievement) makes us wanting for more.

There is a difference between a human being and an atom An atom's only function is to remain stable, whereas human nature involves growth curiosity, and the exploration of new things...

Maybe stability was never the goal… perhaps some of us are still searching for something worth losing ourselves in. :)

In school days wished to bunk chemistry classes . Didnt know , would have to repay back in later years @zozo.:cry1:

Maybe the difference is that atoms don't question when they are stable, but we humans do.

Sometimes we know something is hurting us, but we still keep chasing it because we mistake attachment for something unfinished. We keep thinking that perhaps, if we hold on a little longer, it will finally give us what we're looking for.

Maybe we don't really struggle to know when to stop. We just find it hard to accept that some things are better left behind.

We keep believing that what hurts us might eventually become what heals us.

An atom doesn't romanticize the electron it lost.

Humans do.

Maybe the problem isn’t that we can’t find stability; it’s that we often mistake the things that hurt us for the things we need.

Chemistry gave atoms stability. Life gave us attachment issues.

There is a complete similarity between an atom and a human.
If you know an atom, you know the whole cosmos.
If you know your true self, you know the whole cosmos.
Focus within, and both the atom and the human are similar.

Well photo electric diode works on same principle which used in smart watch to detect heart rate

Maybe because humans are not atoms—we don't always know when we’ve reached stability.
Sometimes we mistake attachment for love and chaos for excitement.
We keep chasing what hurts us, hoping it will eventually become what we imagined.
But perhaps real maturity is knowing when enough is enough and choosing peace over pursuit.
Not everything we desire is meant to become ours; some things are meant to teach us and be left behind
