So guys, person number 4 is also holding a saw, which suggests that he might be planning to cut the branch he's sitting on as well. However, since he's not actively cutting, he's not as immediately stupid as person number 3. But, if he starts cutting, he'll be just as foolish! So that's why number 3 is most stupid here

Number 4 is sawing the branch (to the right) that 3 & 4 are sat on but if 4 succeeds to saw it, only he will fall, while the part where 3 is seated, still remains attached to the trunk right?

Then how does number 3 be the stupid one? He looks to be safest seated amongst the 4 ....
Or am I looking at the picture wrongly

Yes, you are absolutely right! Man 3 is indeed cutting the branch where Man 2 is sitting, which would cause both Man 1 and Man 2 to fall.so
In that case, Man 3 is actually the most stupid one, as he is cutting the branch that he and others are sitting on, without considering the consequences.

He's cutting the branch that 1&2 are seated on... So only 1&2 will fall.

4 is cutting off the part that he is seated at, which is the end part of the right branch, so only 4 will fall if he succeeds to saw it.

3 will never fall coz no one's sawing at the right branch's base

Yess buddy,
Number 4 is also sawing a branch, but he is only putting himself at risk, as he is sawing the branch he is sitting on. If he succeeds, only he will fall, and the branch where number 3 is sitting will remain intact.
Therefore, number 3 is the most stupid person in the image because his actions put multiple people at risk, including himself.
