Today I found myself thinking about her again.
It still feels strange… how someone from a completely different generation walked into my life through a random stranger’s platform. By all logic, we should have just exchanged a few words and moved on. But somehow, she stayed.
She talks to me with such ease, as if age doesn’t matter at all. She teases me like an old friend, yet at times she listens to me with a depth I rarely find even among people my age. It makes me wonder - how did this bond become so natural, so comforting?
Sometimes I feel like time itself bends when I talk to her. She lives in her own fast-paced, youthful world, while I stand a little further ahead in life. And yet, our words meet in the middle - like two rivers finding a way to flow side by side, even if they come from different directions.
I never imagined someone younger could make me feel this understood, this seen. Maybe that’s the beauty of connection - it doesn’t care about numbers, only about the honesty of hearts.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds. But tonight, I’m grateful for her presence. Grateful that in a world of fleeting chats and hollow conversations, I found a soul who, even across a generation gap, chose to be kind… and stayed.
