- Fingers breaker
The fingers are placed between the jaws of this tool that gets closed slowly until the bones of the fingers being crushed and their flesh crumbling… This tool varies between a type designed for crushing the fingers of the hand, another for the toes, another larger for crushing the knee, another for the elbow, and so on…
- Breast Ripper
This tool was intended for the torture of women, where their breasts were pulled out by the roots.
Women get attached to the wall and then this claw-like device is firmly attached to the breast, pulling hard and stretching until the breast is torn and out of place, and the bones of the rib cage come out... These claws are sometimes heated before being placed on the chest.
- The Rack
This bad boy is designed for the purpose of dislocating and ripping every part of the body, as the person lies on it and is tied by the wrists and elbows. Then, the rollers at the two ends are rotated in an opposite direction, which leads to tightening and extending the body to a terrible degree until the joints are sever, the muscles are torn and the blood vessels explode... not talking about the long pins that are in every inch of that machine, so that's another story.
- Iron maiden
This terrifying cabinet contains inside of it long nails carefully placed so as not to penetrate any vital organ of the body, such as the heart or the lungs, so that the person doesn’t die sooner and remains tortured and writhing inside for as long as possible.
The cabinet is lined from the inside with insulating cork wood, where the screams and groans of the victim are not heard, who does not see even a spot of light, and this doubles the torment as it is a psychological torture in addition to the known physical one.
- Breaking wheel
At first glance, it may seem like any wooden wheel, but the infernal creativity of man turned this simple wheel into one of the most terrible tools of torture.
Sometimes the victim is tied in a curved manner on its circular edge and then pushed from a rocky mountain, and sometimes it is fixed on the ground horizontally and the person is tied on it, then the executioners begin to crush and smash his body using huge iron hammers and hooks. Another method is that the victim is fixed at its end in a curved manner and then a metal rod is inserted In the middle of the wheel so that it can rotate easily. Then hungry dogs or wolves are brought in, the wheel is constantly rotated after the fire is lit under it, and the victim's body rises towards the hungry beasts that eat his roast flesh.
And so on until nothing remains but bones.
- Head crusher
The name of this tool says it all... The person's head is placed on the lower rod, and when the interrogation begins, the executioner starts rotating the screw till the iron cap is secured on the head, then gradually presses it during the session until the skull bones shatter.
- Iron chair
It is a chair containing hundreds of nails in every spot of it. The person sits on it fully naked and tied up by ropes and leather belts so that he cannot move. The nails penetrate his entire body, including the arms, soles of the feet, and testicles. Weights are often placed on the victim's body to press him down.
And in order to double the torture, the iron layer containing the nails was sometimes heated so that the flesh would stick to the iron and the nails would stick inside the body, which makes just getting up from that chair a nightmare in itself.
- Wooden horse
Of course, no one would like to ride this "horse" because this means a horrible pain.
The back of this "horse" is a piece of iron in the shape of a V upside down, and it’s very sharp and cut. After the person rides this cute little horse, completly naked, the weights are tied under his feet until they pull him down, and he remains in this state to the point where he is split in half. It may take more than a week as the process is very slow.
- The saw
The person is hung upside down with his feet spread out, and the reason of this position is that the blood would pool in his head, making him fully awake and conscious so that he could feel every minute and second of the torture. Sometimes the saw reaches the middle of the abdomen and the victim is still conscious and sees himself cut in half.
This was a small part of the art of torture that man practiced with all cruelty, brutality and ugliness.
No matter how civilized the human becomes, his savagery does not go away, but rather remains dormant, waiting for the opportunity to be unleashed... Just like the dark part of the moon. We do not see it, but that doesn’t mean that it does not exist.
