Ares drew his sword as Odysseus moved a little closer , suddenly Ares charged towards him...their swords clashed against each other and sent a shockwave through the area. "You will die mortal" said Ares , "no you will" said Odysseus as he continued to battle Ares , their swords clashed again as Athena sat on Pegasus's back and watched , Odysseus punched Ares hard in his jaw , "argh" grumbled Ares...blood began to drip from his mouth , "how can I bleed , I am a god" said Ares.
"I have the power to kill god's" said Odysseus , Ares grew enraged and charged towards Odysseus and thrust his sword towards him , Odysseus swiftly moved out of the way and watched Ares almost trip over Demeter's lifeless body. Ares leapt forward towards Odysseus and swung his sword towards him , Odysseus swung his sword forward once more , their swords clashed and sent another shockwave through the area , moments later Persephone slowly started to move , "you're alive Persephone" said Ares as he and Odysseus battled.
Odysseus used his sword and pushed Ares sword around and then grabbed his wrist , "argh what are you doing" said Ares loudly , Odysseus held Ares wrist tight and made him thrust his sword towards Persephone. "NO!!"...Persephone screamed as Ares sword went straight through her gut , Odysseus let go of Ares wrist and stepped back , Ares pulled his sword out and then Persephone fell to the ground , blood poured out of her as she took her last breath.
"Arghhh" shouted Ares loudly..."you will pay for this" said Ares , Odysseus twirled his sword in his hand as Ares ran towards him , Ares roared as his eyes glowed red. He thrust his sword towards Odysseus as rage took over him , Odysseus ducked and rolled out of the way and swiftly turned around and then thrust his sword through Ares back , "aaaargh" shouted Ares as he felt Odysseus's sword run straight through him , moments later Odysseus pulled his sword out and watched as Ares fell to his knees , "ugh what is going on" said a voice , Demeter was still alive...Demeter walked up to Ares and said "you could never control yourself" as she shook her head.
Suddenly Ares gripped his sword and thrust it towards Demeter , Odysseus quickly grabbed Ares arm to try and stop him , Ares lunged forward with his remaining energy and thrust his sword through Demeter's chest. "No!!" Shouted Odysseus , moments later Ares and Demeter lay dead on the ground beside Persephone , Odysseus kneeled down and took the amulet off Demeter's neck and placed it around his own neck.
Odysseus climbed onto Pegasus's back as Athena used her magic to send Ares , Demeter and Persephone's bodies to Olympus , moments later Odysseus , Athena and Pegasus flew towards Mount Olympus and passed through the shield surrounding it. After they arrived Apollo , Artemis and Poseidon gathered around them , "where is lord Zeus" they asked...Athena and Odysseus looked at each other then Odysseus said "we don't know he vanished in an explosion"....Apollo , Artemis and Poseidon became silent for a few moments as they thought about things , "well then..it looks like you are in charge now Athena" said Poseidon.
Hercules and Perseus took Ares , Persephone , Hephaestus and Demeter's bodies to the garden and buried them around a large tree with golden leaves. Moments later Apollo, Artemis , Poseidon , Odysseus and Athena stood by the large tree and closed their eyes for a moment to pay their respects , a few minutes later..."that means there's only Hera , Hades and Aphrodite left" said Athena , Poseidon nodded as he held his trident firmly , "we must be careful , they will be more dangerous than ever now..." Said Apollo.
Meanwhile at the underworld...."arghhh" screamed Hera ,"they shall pay for what they have done" said Hera as her eyes glowed purple , "leave Odysseus to me , I'll deal with him" said Hades. "Who rules Olympus now" asked Aphrodite , "Zeus always wanted Athena to take his place but the throne is rightfully mine" said Hera , "let us plan our next attack" said Hades as he smirked evilly....
