To Be Seen and Still Chosen

Real intimacy isn't just texting all day, staying up on FaceTime, or posting each other on social media.

It's having someone who sees the messy parts of you the anxiety, the overthinking, the bad days, the things you don't tell anyone and still chooses to stay.
It's not about finding someone who can fix you. It's about finding someone who sits with you while you're figuring things out yourself.

Someone who doesn't call you "too much" when your emotions get heavy. Someone who doesn't disappear when you're hard to understand. Someone who makes you feel safe enough to be completely yourself.

Because real intimacy isn't being loved when you're easy to love.

True intimacy is about not turning your back during difficult times, but rather holding hands.

Beautifully said.

Being truly seen and still being chosen is one of the rarest forms of love.

Real intimacy isn't about perfection—it's about acceptance, patience, and staying even when life gets messy.

The right person won't expect you to hide your flaws; they'll make you feel safe enough to be yourself.

Hello and good evening Ms. . Very rightly said. Intimacy is not always about a physical connection. Sometimes depending on the person of course it's more emotional and mental connection. People do tend to mistake intimacy in a sexual way but that's always not the case. Depending on an individual specially so called sapiosexuals it's all about a mind connect. God bless!!!. Cheers!!!
