After ten minutes of walking Elena and Elios had arrived at the lake, the clear blue water shimmered in the sunlight as dragonflies flew around just above the surface. Elena stood beside the lake and watched the colourful fish swimming around amongst the plant's as Elios looked around, Elena closed her eyes and breathed in and out slowly as the gentle breeze brushed against her soft skin.
Meanwhile Elios drew his sword and walked slowly towards Elena and gripped his sword firmly as he moved silently, his eyes glowed orange and his skin became pale. Just as he was about to thrust his sword towards her Elena suddenly turned around, Elena looked at him and began to sing, Elios suddenly froze as Elena's beautiful singing paralysed him, he dropped his sword and became entranced.
Elena's voice filled the area all around them as she continued to sing, a few moments later she picked up Elios's sword and pointed it towards him. Elios began to lose his mind as Elena's beautiful singing entranced him further, Elios fell to his knees and placed his hands on the ground as he began to feel pain burning through him, then suddenly Elena stopped singing and Elios collapsed onto the ground and passed out.
A few minutes or so later Elios regained consciousness and held his head, "ugh what happened.." said Elios, "you were going to kill me" said Elena. "What!?, I would not do that" said Elios, "but you were going to so I stopped you" said Elena, "ugh..I do not remember" said Elios, "hmm I did see your eyes glowing orange" said Elena, "are they still glowing orange?" Asked Elios.
"No, you're eyes are normal again" said Elena, "hmm, I do not understand what happened..." Said Elios, "hmm I think maybe something or someone was controlling you" said Elena. "But why?, why would something or someone want me to kill you?" Said Elios, "I am not sure but I am sure we shall find out" said Elena as she handed him his sword, "I hope it does not happen again" said Elios.
"I shall be keeping an eye on you from now on" said Elena, "let us leave this place" said Elios, several moments later Elena and Elios began to walk away from the lake and towards the hills. Meanwhile amongst the tree's a woman mumbled to herself as she watched them walk away, "I shall kill you one way or another Elena..." The woman mumbled to herself as she followed Elena and Elios.
A short time later Elena and Elios had reached the hills and made their way up the steep slope towards the top, after slowly making their way up the steep slope they had finally reached the top of the hill. "Look!, there are ruins here" said Elena as Elios stood beside her, "hmm these ruins make me feel uneasy" said Elios, "I feel the same, I heard a story about some cursed ruins once, I wonder if this is the place they were talking about" said Elena.
"I hope not, let us be on our guard!" Said Elios, Elena nodded and then they both drew their swords and began to walk slowly around the ruins.
