As rubble continued to fall towards Elena a burst of red light flashed in front of her and a man appeared, it was Eros!, he grabbed Elena and flew towards the rift at high speed as it became more unstable. Then a few moments later, "CRASH!!", the roof caved in and the columns fell down, on the other side of the rift the fury sister's Megaera, Alecto and Tisiphone moved out of Eros's way.
Eros had saved Elena from what looked like certain death and placed her on the ground, moments later the rift collapsed and closed itself for good. "Ugh my head, what happened..." Said Elena, "we stopped the beast!" Said Megaera, "I could not have defeated it without your help" said Elena as she slowly stood up, "I suspected that you would not..." Said Alecto, Tisiphone grumbled and said "murderrrr...".
"Yes sister Tisiphone, we killed the beast..." Said Megaera, Elena turned her head and saw Eros standing beside her, "thank you for saving me Eros" said Elena as a little blood dripped from her cheek. "It appears the fates wanted me to save you" said Eros and then smiled at her, "we must go now, lord Hades calls to us" said Megaera, moments later the fury sister's Megaera, Alecto and Tisiphone had vanished back to the underworld.
Elena held her head as Eros used his powers to heal her wounds, "feel better?" Said Eros, "yes thank you Eros!" Said Elena. Then suddenly a burst of pink light flashed in front of them and Aphrodite had appeared, "ah Eros my son, I have work for you to do!" Said Aphrodite, "more work?, I have other things to do mother..." Said Eros, "yes my son, lord Zeus needs your assistance" said Aphrodite.
"Uncle Zeus can rely upon me!" Said Eros, a moment later he said goodbye to Elena and then transported himself to Olympus. "You are fortunate indeed that my son saved you from that place..." Said Aphrodite, "yes I am grateful for his help" said Elena, then suddenly Elena fell to her knees and then passed out, a few hours later she eventually regained consciousness to find herself laying on her bed back home.
"I must have passed out...." Said Elena as she held her head, she sat up and looked around and said"how did I get back home?". Then a few moments later Aphrodite stepped out of the shadow and said "after you passed out I bought you home", "thank you goddess Aphrodite" said Elena, Aphrodite smiled at her a little and then vanished back to Mount Olympus.
"Back home once again, what shall I do next..." Elena wondered as she sat there on her bed, seconds later someone knocked on her door. Elena got up slowly and walked towards the door then opened it, "it is you!, my eyes must be playing tricks on me.." said Elena as she saw a familiar face, "I am here sister, I have come home" said Daphne, "I thought you were dead, the last time I saw you you were being pulled beneath the waves by a monster!" Said Elena.
"Yes I...remember...Poseidon saved me, I could not return until now" said Daphne, Elena hugged her sister Daphne and told her how happy she was to see her. "Why did it take so long to come home?" Asked Elena, "Poseidon sent me on a quest to find his wife Amphitrite" said Daphne, "did you find her?" Said Elena, "eventually yes, it was a dangerous quest and I almost died" said Daphne.
"I almost died today, I would have been dead if it were not for Eros" said Elena, "in that case, I thank you Eros for saving my sister" said Daphne. Elena and Daphne sat down and got comfortable as the sun shine through the window, "we must share our stories!" Said Daphne, "I cannot wait to hear your story!, you tell yours first sister" Said Elena, after a few moments Daphne began to tell Elena about the quest Poseidon had sent her on as Elena listened eagerly.
Later that afternoon Daphne had finished talking and Elena began to tell her about her journey, Daphne listened carefully to every word as she ate a few olive's and drank a little wine. As sunset approached Elena had finished telling Daphne about her journey and then became silent for a moment, "maybe we should go on a journey together" said Daphne.
"A good idea sister!" Said Elena, "you must recover first" said Daphne, "hmm yes, let us go in six day's from now" said Elena. "I shall look forward to it!" Said Daphne and then she smiled at Elena.
Six day's later...
It was early in the morning during sunrise and Elena and Daphne had had breakfast and finished packing for their journey. "Are you ready sister?" Said Daphne, "I am ready, I cannot wait to see what else is out there to discover!" Said Elena as she and Daphne stepped out of their house and into the sunlight and closed the door behind them, Athens soaked in the golden glow of the sunrise and a gentle breeze flowed as the birds sang.
"Let us go and see everything we can!" Said Daphne, "let us go sister!" said Elena, a moment later Elena and Daphne walked through the streets of Athens and began their journey together as they felt the warmth of the morning sun and the cool wind against their skin.
Elena and Daphne had an amazing journey and saw strange creatures, new places, people and reunited with some old friends as well as meeting new friends, god's and goddess's. It was a journey they would never forget and a story they would tell their family forevermore.
