Elena and the beast stared at one another as fire burst all around them and the water continued to bubble, "I shall destroy you beast!" Said Elena. A moment later the beast roared loudly and then charged towards her, Elena ran quickly as the beasts steps shook the ground a little, seconds later the beast leapt through the air towards Elena, "what!?, how can a beast this size jump like that!" She thought.
Elena ran faster and then dodged to one side narrowly avoiding the beast's attack, meanwhile on the other side of the rift the fury sister's watched as Elena and the beast battled. "Elena must do better if she is to stop the beast!" Said Megaera, "she must not fail us, if she dies in there I shall punish her in the underworld" said Alecto, Tisiphone stared through the rift blankly and grumbled.
"If she fails then we must step in and stop the beast ourselves" said Megaera, "I agree, we must not let the beast escape or this island the mainland will be destroyed" said Alecto. Meanwhile on the other side of the rift Elena continued to battle the beast with everything she had, Elena landed multiple blows on the beast cutting through it's black fur and flesh, the beast's blood dripped onto the floor as it roared once again.
A few moments later the ground shook as the beast stomped it's feet against the ground hard, "I must defeat this beast!" Said Elena as she began to think to herself. Suddenly the beast swiped it's razor sharp claws at her almost shredding her armour, "ugh, those claws could have killed me..." Thought Elena, then a few moments later she thought of one more thing she could do.
Elena began to sing to herself as fire continued to burst all around her and the beast, Elena's voice became louder and louder making the beast confused. The beast began to move strangely almost as if it were in pain as Elena continued to sing, then several moments later Elena let out an ear piercing high pitched scream, the column's shook a little as her voice echoed throughout the room.
Meanwhile on the outside of the rift the fury sister's decided to assist Elena, they entered the portal and then flew around at high speed and attacked the beast. Elena continued to scream making the column's shake more and ribble began to fall from above, her voice had no effect on the fury sister's as they continued their attack against the beast, Megaera attacked the beast's face and clawed it's eyes out.
The beast was now blind and swung it's tail and claws in a frenzy as Alecto fired a barrage of fireballs at it, the beast grew more and more enraged as Tisiphone flew around it and clawed at it at high speed. While the fury sister's attacked the beast Elena stopped screaming and ran forward towards it, several moments later Elena reached the beast and thrust her shining sword into it's body over and over again.
The beast let out a weaker roar and then began to stumble, "it is going to fall!" Thought Elena as she pulled her sword out of the beast. A matter of seconds later Elena moved fast as the beast began to collapse, a short time later the beast fell to the floor and made the room shake, "we must get away from this place it is going to collapse!" Said Elena, the fury sister's looked around and then flew at high speed towards the rift.
As Elena ran forward she tripped on a stone and fell down, the fury sister's flew into the rift and within seconds reached the other side. Flames burst wildly and bubbles popped bigger and louder as Elena crawled across the floor on the other side of the rift, "should we assist her?" Said Megaera, "it is not our decision to make, it is fates decision" said Alecto as Tisiphone stood beside them and grumbled.
Suddenly the rift became unstable and could close at any moment, Elena continued to crawl across the floor as boiling hot black water splashed onto the floor beside her. A few moments later she managed to stand up and and kept moving towards the unstable rift, meanwhile on the other side of the rift the fury sister's stood and watched as Elena moved slowly towards them.
"She is not going to make it" said Megaera, "oh well..." Said Alecto, then suddenly the roof above Elena started to cave in around her. "Oh no...I am going to die here..." Thought Elena as she looked through the rift at the fury sister's and rubble fell down towards her.
