Elena and Kostas were engaged in battle as Acastus kept a safe distance and watched, Acastus held onto the treasure he had found as Elena and Kostas's swords collided. Spark's flew as Elena's sword clashed against Kostas's silver wrist band, "the treasure is mine!" Said Kostas as he threw a punch towards Elena, a split second later Elena ducked and punched Kostas in the abdomen.
The punch winded Kostas and made him stop for several seconds to catch his breath, suddenly Kostas swung and thrust his sword through the air towards Elena in a frenzy. "CLANG!!", Elena's sword clashed against Kostas's sword again and again creating more spark's around them, a moment later Kostas tripped over a small stone and fell backwards onto the ground.
Kostas lay there in silence for a moment and slowly grabbed at some sand and held it in his hand, Elena walked towards him slowly and then a moment later Kostas threw the sand at Elena. "Argh!, I cannot see" said Elena as she began to brush the sand from her face, Kostas gripped his sword firmly and then thrust it towards Elena, just as Kostas was about to strike Elena he felt something touch his shoulder.
He quickly turned around and saw Acastus standing in front of him, the suddenly Acastus thrust his leg forward and kicked Kostas's groin. "That shall teach you to fight dirty, especially against a lady!" Said Acastus as he backed away, a few moments or so later Elena had cleared her eyes and face of sand and reached for her shield and then held it up in front of herself.
Kostas holding his groin in one hand as he turned around to face Elena, then "CLANG!", Elena hit Kostas in the face with her shield making him fall to his knees. A few moments later Kostas shook his head and then became enraged and thrust his sword towards Elena's abdomen, Elena moved swiftly and blocked his attack with her sword and then told Acastus to cover his ears.
Acastus covered his ears and then Elena began to sing, her beautiful enchanting voice filled the cave and echoed throughout the tunnels. Kostas suddenly became paralyzed and dropped his sword onto the ground, "agh, what are you doing.." said Kostas as Elena continued to sing, moments later Kostas had become entranced by her voice and blood began to drip from his nose and ears.
Kostas was completely unaware that her voice was slowly killing him as blood dripped onto the sand, then a few seconds later Kostas felt agonising pain throughout his body. His ears burned until his ear drums finally burst and then he collapsed, Elena stopped singing and gave a sign for Acastus to uncover his ears. "It is over now Acastus" said Elena as she put her sword and shield away.
"Thank you for helping me" said Acastus, "let us go back to the village, your wife Erini and daughter Klelia are waiting for you" said Elena. After a several minutes of walking they had arrived at the village, "how did you do that before?, what are you?" Said Acastus, "I am...something different, my voice can kill people or make them lose their mind, whichever I choose" said Elena.
"Acastus!" Said his wife Erini, "father!" Said his daughter Klelia as they rushed towards him, "I found him in the cave at the beach" said Elena. "I found this treasure inside the cave, we can sell it for a fortune!" Said Acastus and then smiled at his wife and daughter, Erini and Klelia hugged Acastus and then smiled at Elena, "thank you so much for finding my dear husband" said Erini.
"It was no trouble" said Elena, "Klelia wants to give you something" said Erini, a few moments later Acastus's daughter Klelia handed Elena a bracelet she had made herself. "It is beautiful thank you Klelia" said Elena as she put the bracelet on, "ok Acastus, Klelia it is time for dinner" said Erini, a few moments later Elena said goodbye to Acastus and his family and then left Kalydon behind her a she continued her journey.
Several hours later...
Nightfall had arrived and Elena had set up camp in the pine forest as the moonlight glowed bright, "it has been a busy day, I must get some rest" thought Elena as she entered her tent. A few minutes later Elena had fallen asleep as the wind began to blow stronger and dark clouds moved through the night sky, almost four hours later Elena had been awoken by a noise outside her tent.
She reached for her sword and quietly picked it up and then peeked through the gap in the tent and looked around, "who is there?" said Elena as she slowly emerged from her tent.
