Two months later...
After losing her friend Elios and defeating Megara, Elena was ready to resume her journey and begun to pack some of her belongings and supplies. After half an hour of preparing herself Elena was ready to go, a few moments later she opened the front door and stepped outside into the sunlight as it shone bright in the clear blue sky, "alright it is time to go!" Said Elena as she closed the door behind her.
After a few seconds she began to walk through the streets of Athens and headed towards the edge of the city, four minutes later Elena had reached the edge of the city and stopped. She took one last look at the city and then walked onwards outside the city's perimeter, twenty two minutes later Elena had found herself walking through a meadow full of poppies.
She began to sing quietly to herself as her left hand brushed against the poppies beside her, after walking for another seven minutes Elena felt a sudden chill down her spine. "Brr, what was that..." Thought Elena as she stopped and stood still at the edge of the poppy filled meadow, then suddenly almost everything had become silent, the birds had stopped singing and the insects had become quiet.
The only sound that could still be heard was the wind, the wind sounded ominous as it blew a little stronger and made the tree branches shake. Elena drew her sword and looked all around her, then a moment later a shadow appeared in front of her and a man appeared, "who are you?" Elena asked the man, the man stood there in silence as he held his scythe firmly in his hand.
Then suddenly he spoke to her, "I am Thanatos..." Said the man, "you mean...death...?" Said Elena, "yes..." said Thanatos as he stared at her with his grey eyes. "What are you doing here?, I am not dead.." said Elena, "I have come for you..." Said Thanatos, "what..but why?" Asked Elena, "the fates have decided that you must assist me with my quest" said Thanatos.
"What is your quest?" Said Elena, "Eros and my brother Hypnos has been taken prisoner" said Thanatos, "by whom?, and where?" Said Elena. "Hypnos and Eros were taken by a sorceress that seems to be able to capture and imprison us god's" said Thanatos, "hmm, I shall help you, let us go save them from the sorceress!" Said Elena eagerly, a few moments later Thanatos transported Elena and himself to another place.
Seconds later they reappeared on an island shrouded in darkness and fog, "what is this place?" Asked Elena, "this island is called Asterios" said Thanatos. "I do not like this place, I sense dread and despair here" said Elena, "yes but you have nothing to fear with me here, but stay close to me" said Thanatos as they began to walk through the darkness and the fog in search of Eros and Hypnos.
