The silence nobody understood - Chapter 1

The Boy Who Made Everyone Laugh
There was a boy named Tony.
If you walked into a room and heard someone laughing loudly, there was a good chance Tony was the reason behind it. He wasn't necessarily the smartest person in the room, nor was he the most talented. But he had one special quality: he knew how to make people feel comfortable around him.

He could start a conversation with a complete stranger and, within minutes, make them feel like old friends.

In college, he was the one who made boring lectures entertaining. He was the one who came up with ridiculous nicknames for his friends. He was the one who could turn an ordinary evening into a memory that everyone would talk about for weeks.

His phone was always busy.

Someone needed help? They called Tony.

Someone was feeling low? They texted Tony.

Someone wanted company? Tony was always available.

He was the person who remembered birthdays, checked on friends after exams, listened to endless relationship problems, and stayed awake late into the night just to make sure someone else didn't feel alone.

He never thought of these things as sacrifices. For him, friendship meant showing up.

He believed that if you gave people genuine love, loyalty, and care, they would eventually give you the same in return.
It was a beautiful belief.

It was also the belief that life would slowly teach him to question.

One evening, while sitting with his friends at their usual tea stall, one of them asked, "Tony, ra, do you ever get tired of talking?"
Tony laughed.

"Talking? If nobody talks to me for ten minutes, I'll start interviewing the tea master!"

Everyone burst out laughing.
Tony laughed the loudest.

Nobody noticed that, behind all those jokes, he had never really learned how to tell people when he was hurting.

He knew how to make people smile.
He didn't know how to ask someone to stay when he needed them.

Such a touching story about a true friend. It's so true that the ones who bring the most joy often need the most support themselves.
