This is the story of a small village in the United Kingdom called Llanarthney, located in the country of Wales. It was a place where the people of the “Llanfihangel Rhos-y-Corn” community used to live. There was a church there, situated near the B4300 road. Due to the constant cold, there was always mist, and the village had a very low population, which gave it a sense of peace. Whenever travellers from nearby villages passed through, this church appeared unusual to them. Many people had heard sounds of screaming and crying from within. But when any villagers were asked about it, they would not be surprised and would simply say, “That church is everything to us. Here, only Father Aurelius can heal the pain of those suffering from sorrow. Those who don't believe in our words can come and see for themselves.”
Today, in Llanarthney, dark clouds are hanging in the sky. As usual, there is an eerie silence on the streets and around the houses. Looking at the clouds, it seems like a heavy rain is highly likely today. There are no travellers, and no vehicles are visible on the roads. The atmosphere feels unusually melancholic.
Amidst the darkness of the afternoon, the sound of a church bell ringing echoes through the air. As usual, the villagers have gathered in the church to offer their prayers. The Crossbill (a rare bird) seems to be singing along with the bell's toll, as if in harmony with it. Father Aurelius thanked the people and then requested everyone to rise and stand for the prayer to God.
Just then, we see an innocent girl standing hurriedly at the threshold of the church. Perhaps she was late for the prayer today. Her name was Millie. Although she wasn't a native of Llanarthney, she was a very beautiful, simple, and educated young girl. Her eyes were as deep and blue as the ocean, and her hair was thick, golden-brown. Millie was an attractive young woman, and she lived alone in the village. Her mother had passed away, and she didn’t know anything about her father.
Millie stood at the church door, looking at Father Aurelius with a smile, and he, in turn, smiled back at her. Due to the dark clouds, the winds had started blowing strongly, perhaps signaling the arrival of rain. Just then, the first raindrops began to fall, and the wind, filled with dust, started blowing fiercely. Millie quickly ran from the church door and headed towards the shelter of a nearby tree.
The rain had now begun to fall heavily. A deep darkness had spread across the sky. The sound of the church was no longer audible outside the door. Millie, standing under the tree, suddenly felt as if someone else might be there with her. Just then, her eyes fell upon a young man who appeared to be very attractive and lively.
This young man was Zaden. With hair as dark as the night and mysterious, deep eyes that seemed capable of drowning anyone in their gaze. Zaden's personality was very different from Millie's. He was neither educated nor had any interest in God or his teachings.
He had been guarding the church for many years, but until today, no one had ever seen him enter the church. He only did the work assigned to him by Father Aurelius or took care of tasks related to cleaning the church's exterior during the night, under the cover of darkness.
Now, Millie walked towards Zaden. Though visiting the church for prayer was a daily routine for her, she had never seen Zaden this closely before. Zaden always kept his distance, and this was the very reason why Millie and Zaden had never interacted before. She had only heard Zaden's name from Father Aurelius. As she took a step forward to talk to him, she saw Zaden for the first time, and the moment their eyes met, a strange unease struck her. She couldn’t help but keep staring at him, lost in his gaze. Zaden, on the other hand, was deep in thought, holding a cigarette in his hand. Just then, Millie snapped out of her trance and asked, "Are you Zaden?"
Usually, Zaden didn’t respond to anyone’s words, but perhaps seeing Millie’s simplicity made him soften for a moment, and he answered her in a more gentle tone than usual.
Millie asked Zaden, "Are you the same Zaden that Father Aurelius talks about?" Zaden, in a deep voice, replied, "Yes, I am Zaden."
She wished she could stay in Zaden’s arms forever. Slowly, the storm seemed to calm down. Zaden gently pulled his arms away from Millie and said, "Sorry, Millie. The storm was strong, and I didn’t know what I was doing."
As Millie moved a little away from him, she felt a sense of disappointment. Then, she started thinking—Zaden could have easily protected himself, but instead, he thought of her. She smiled to herself, feeling a warmth in her heart.
As the storm finally began to subside, they both sat down on a bench. Millie asked Zaden, "I’ve never seen you in the church. Why is that? Even those who don’t believe in God or are demons sometimes come to church. Why don’t you?"
With a smile, Millie teasingly added, "Are you a demon, Zaden?"
Zaden looked at her and said, "Do you think your God’s power is limited to the church? Will He never help people outside the church?"
From the church, the sounds of screaming and crying could be heard outside. Millie said to Zaden, "Maybe someone has come to Father Aurelius with their pain."
Zaden replied, "Some pains are such that they stay with you for a lifetime, and they can never be forgotten."
The sounds from the church stopped after a while. People began to walk out from the church, heading toward the outside.
Millie, looking up at the sky, spoke softly, “Father, that was Zaden. Why have I never felt such happiness before? How could someone so unfamiliar make me feel this way? Why does my heart long for him? Please don’t be upset, Father, but today I feel so much freer and happier outside the church." Father Aurelius responded, “Millie, you are very innocent and naïve right now. You should keep your distance from such strangers. How can someone who doesn’t follow God bring good into your life? “With a broken heart, Millie replied, "Yes, Father, just as you say. I know that God is everything. But somewhere deep inside, Zaden had made an impact on her life."
As Millie stepped out of the church, a few people surrounded her, looking at her with judgmental eyes. They whispered to each other, "Look, my friends, even the devil himself comes to pray to God." With that, they mocked Millie and then glared at her as they moved on.
However, Millie was unaffected by their words. She was incredibly happy today, and feeling Zaden's presence in her heart, she walked away with a bright smile on her face.
The story now shifts to a few years ago (The Past...)
When we turn back the pages of the story, we come to know that, in fact, the villagers did not like Millie at all. They would watch her with suspicious eyes. Their belief was that all the strange events happening in the village were somehow Millie’s fault. Why? Because these events had only started occurring after Millie arrived in the village.
We now see Millie at her home, reading a book in the evening, just as she always did. But this time, there was a strange restlessness in her heart. Her focus was no longer on her studies. She couldn’t understand why this was happening. Deep down, she thought to herself that perhaps she should go to the church to meet Father Aurelius.
(After Millie reaches the church...)
When Millie reaches the church, she finds that Father Aurelius is not there and has gone out for some work. Millie sits down and closes her eyes, beginning to pray to God.
"Hey God, you have always kept me happy and sheltered under your wings. But today, why can’t I find peace in my heart? God, help me, guide me with your light in this darkness."
Just then, a mysterious light appears from the church window. Millie’s gaze is instantly drawn to it, and intrigued by the secret behind the light, she leaves the church to follow it.
(In the next chapter...)
As Millie steps out of the church, we see her with Zaden. Millie is very happy now, as if Zaden was the reason for her restlessness. Zaden is lying under the open sky, and Millie sits down beside him. Perhaps God had heard Millie's call and, to dispel her darkness, brought Zaden to her.
Millie says, “Zaden, I’ve just met you today. Then why does my heart only long for you? Why does it feel like the one I’ve been searching for is only you?”
Zaden replies, “Millie, you can’t wait your whole life for someone like this. You need to understand that if someone who loves you moves away, how can you live your life without them?”
Hearing Zaden's words, Millie’s heart shatters. Tears begin to flow from her bright eyes. She hadn’t expected such words from him. Before her happiness, dark clouds of despair suddenly began to form.
As soon as tears welled up in Millie's eyes, Zaden immediately stood up and embraced her. Millie, unable to hold back, wrapped her arms around him as well. Like the calm sky, a serene stillness settled in the air. There was no sound, no wind—everything seemed to come to a halt. Millie and Zaden, forgetting all their troubles, were lost in each other's arms.
Zaden said, “Millie, my intention was never to hurt you.”
"Often, after a storm, a flourishing village gets destroyed. You don’t know its pain. In life, we don’t always have moments of happiness. No matter how
beautifully we build our homes by the sea, one tsunami, and we lose everything." Millie replied, “Zaden, often it’s because of too much pain that we break apart.
But if we fight that pain, we grow stronger.”
A lot was going on in Zaden's mind, and he didn’t fully agree with Millie’s words. However, for Millie’s happiness, he said, “You’re right, Millie.” Hearing this, Millie, calm now, closed her eyes with a smile on her face.
.
Just then, we see Father Aurelius glaring at Millie and Zaden with angry eyes. As soon as Father Aurelius arrives, Zaden immediately runs away. Zaden is rarely seen in the daylight by people. Seeing them together, Father Aurelius was clearly not happy, and his face showed nothing but displeasure.
"At night, Millie is standing with an elderly woman from the village. Millie's eyes are lifted upward, while the elderly woman's eyes have turned pale. It seems as though she is under Millie's control, and Millie is whispering something in her ear."
Father Aurelius has arrived at the scene. People are talking among themselves, saying, “Stay calm, everyone. Father is here now—everything will be fine. There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
Father Aurelius raises his voice gently, “Everyone, please remain calm. God is with us. Whoever has done this—God will surely bring them to justice. Amen.”
"Father Aurelius muttered to himself, 'I know it’s you, Satan, behind all of this. Do you have any principles, you monster? You've always satisfied your hunger by tormenting innocent people. But you can never stay true to your promises. I had forgotten—you are the devil. What principles would matter to you? But now, for my own selfish reasons, I can no longer sacrifice the lives of these villagers. God, forgive me. Protect Millie. I can’t risk anyone else’s life to save hers anymore.'"
"Twenty years ago..."
"‘My dear Adain, stop crying. Don’t lose your courage. Millie is my daughter too, and I will always keep her happy,’ said Father Aurelius, trying to console her. 'God, I have always praised You, and what have You given in return? You’ve given my daughter a heart that is incapable of love. Why have You done this?'
Listening to her tears, Father Aurelius continued, ‘Adain, I will not return home until I find the light that can save my daughter’s life.’ With those words, he left, walking away from the scene."
"Here, we find out that Millie's father is none other than Father Aurelius himself."
("Father Aurelius, walking down the path, his heart heavy with resolve and desperation, moving forward as if driven by a force greater than himself.")
"With those words, the figure transforms into the devil himself, his true form now revealed. He sneers and says, 'Listen, Priest, this is my true form. Now that you know I am a devil, do you still want to seek my help?'
Father Aurelius replies, 'I will go to any lengths to save my Millie. But tell me, what’s in this for you?'
The devil smirks, 'Listen, Priest. For this Favor, all I want from you is that every night, you offer the blood of these innocent villagers to me to satisfy my hunger. If your God didn't come to your aid, what makes you think these villagers will be of any use to you?'
Father Aurelius, conflicted but determined, says, 'I swear to you, if my daughter is saved, I will do whatever you ask.'
Hearing this, the devil vanishes into the air, leaving Father Aurelius alone with his decision."
"Father Aurelius tries to transfer the light into the innocent child, but suddenly, the boy falls silent, his eyes closing. Father Aurelius, a bit saddened, thinks to himself, This was necessary for Millie... Zaden, I’ll always keep you by my side."
"As the light disappears, a loud explosion shakes the church, and flames erupt. The fire spreads quickly, consuming everything in its path. Father Aurelius knows that if the villagers find out, they’ll believe he has angered God. They will never let him or his family live in peace again."
"As time moves forward, we learn that Father Aurelius, during his prayers, secretly gave a poisonous substance to one person at a time, disguised as holy water. This caused them to vomit blood, and their bodies would begin to bleed uncontrollably. And this blood, Father Aurelius used to feed Zaden, keeping his promise, ensuring that the boy would remain the key to Millie's survival."
"What? Millie is your daughter?" Zaden is shocked, tears filling his eyes. He says, "Father, do you know why I hate you so much?
When I was a child, you found me in the jungle. You took me in your arms, raised me, and turned me from a helpless baby into what I am now. But do you know why I despise you?
You tore me away from my family. For your own benefit, you placed a part of the devil into the body of an innocent child. I haven’t forgotten, Father. I remember everything.
And as for all the deaths… I am not responsible. If I wanted to end someone, why would I start with the villagers? I would have ended you first, Father."
"Father Aurelius looks at Zaden and says, 'If you truly want the well-being of these villagers or Millie, then you must leave us. I don’t know whether you are good or evil, but the devil resides within you. No matter how hard you try, you won’t be able to stop him.'
With that, Father Aurelius turns and walks away, leaving Zaden standing in the shadows, his heart heavy with the truth of his fate."
"On the other side, we see Zaden, stepping out into the dense darkness. He has made up his mind—he will leave the village.".
"As we can see, Zaden’s face now shows clarity; he is fully conscious. Zaden whispers,
'Millie, forgive me. For now, leaving this village is the best choice.'
On the road, Zaden spots a girl, and immediately, he feels his control slipping. As night falls, it seems his bloodlust is awakening once again."
(morning time)
"Some people have set out for morning prayer at the church. On the way, they notice something strange. One of the boys, Max, says to his friends, 'Friends, there’s something among those thick bushes. How can the trees there be dry, and the land barren, when just yesterday it was green and lush? Let’s go and see what has happened there.'
From behind, some people say, 'Leave it, Max. This could be a sign of something bad. We should call Father Aurelius.'
Max replies, 'No, we’re going to check it out first. Don’t be cowards. God is with us.'" This version sticks closely to your original phrasing. Let me know if you'd like any other adjustments!
(After going behind the bushes, ahead..)
"Upon hearing this, the children’s parents come to Father Aurelius and say, 'Father, we are all with you. We know for certain that whatever has happened, it cannot be because of you. You are still pure. These people were killed by someone else. The one responsible is none other than Zaden.'
Father Aurelius replies, 'How could this be possible? I must test the holy water. Someone go to the church and bring me a glass of the holy water.'"
"Zaden enters the village and directly goes to Millie. Millie, overjoyed, can hardly contain herself and immediately embraces Zaden. 'Zaden, why did you go away from me? You must always stay by my side.'
Zaden smiles and replies, 'Did you forget my words? The storm, the winds, all of that?' Millie says, 'Let me stay in your arms. I’ve found my light. Now, I won’t let you go.
You will always stay with me. You are mine, and I am only yours, Zaden. I love you, Zaden.'"
Just then, we see Father Aurelius—he has heard everything they said. He walks over to Zaden, who stands there with his face turned away, unable to meet Father Aurelius's eyes, because he had disobeyed him by not leaving the village.
Father Aurelius says,
“Zaden, you don’t need to hide your face from me anymore.
The demon we’ve been speaking of—it’s not you. Even the light of God is giving us that sign.
That demon is hiding somewhere among us and comes out only at night to prey on the innocent.
When I carefully examined the bodies of the victims, I discovered something strange.
They didn’t die from blood loss—their souls had been taken from them. Zaden, I need your help to defeat that demon.
Will you help me?”
Millie: “Father, is it true what you're saying?” Father Aurelius: “Yes, daughter.”
Father Aurelius takes Zaden aside to talk to him alone, away from Millie. Zaden says, “Father Aurelius, how can we stop it? It's much stronger than us, magical. We don’t even know who or what it is.” Father Aurelius says, “Zaden, we can take advantage of its weakness during the night. We’ll gather all the villagers in the church. It will definitely come out to satisfy its thirst.” Zaden says, “Father, won’t that put Millie in danger too?” Father Aurelius replies, “We have no other way. If we only think about Millie’s life, people will keep dying. Just like you can’t live without Millie, these villagers also can’t live without their children, parents, or friends. We can’t risk their lives for your and my personal reasons.”
Zaden goes to Millie. Millie asks, “What happened, Zaden? What was Father saying?” Zaden, with a fake smile, says, “Millie, he was talking about destroying that demon.” Millie says, “From tomorrow, all the problems in the village will be gone, right, Zaden? There will be light everywhere, right? And the people who look at me with doubt… tomorrow, they’ll look at me with love, won’t they?” Hearing this, Zaden can’t hide his fake smile. Millie says, “Zaden, can I say something to you?”
Millie says, “Zaden, I heard everything you and Father talked about. I know I’m here today, but I may not be with you tomorrow. But I’ve prayed to God that next time, He sends me to this world just for you—with no pain or sorrow. Then we’ll be together.
Millie says, “As you say.” Then she tells Zaden, “Control yourself. Loving me so much might distract you from your goal. You should go now. I’ll come to the church in the evening. It’s better if you leave from here now. I swear on me—stay away from me for now.” We see Millie stopping Zaden from even coming close to her. Zaden looks at her and says, “I love you, Millie.” Saying this, he walks away.
( At night)
In the crowd, Father Aurelius says, “Zaden, wherever you are, come to me. I need to speak with you alone.”
Father Aurelius, you’re here—please help us, Father, my son! Father Aurelius says, what happened? The man says, Father, my son Max is missing, he was just with us, suddenly it got dark and he disappeared. Father Aurelius asks, who else is missing from here? People say, Father, Millie is also missing. Father says, someone call Zaden… Zaden?
In the very next scene, we see Zaden floating in the air—he is not in his senses. Father Aurelius says, “Zaden? You… the demon? It was my mistake to trust you. You’re the one who hid my daughter Millie and Max. Tell me—where are they?”
Just then, we see Millie. Her hair and clothes were completely white—she looked very different from before. Her eyes were terrifying and scary. Millie had completely changed. She now looked like a mysterious girl. She was no longer ordinary like before.
Tears filled Father Aurelius’s eyes. “Oh God, what wrong have my daughter and I done to You? Why did You do this to her? You have destroyed my life, God. Maybe I was never truly Yours, but my daughter Millie was always devoted to You. Then why aren’t You protecting her now? Help me, God… please help me. Zaden, where are you? You…?”
The demon says, “Do you really think you can stop me or deceive me?” Zaden replies, “I’m not talking about stopping you. If you have even a shred of courage, then fight Millie at dawn—she has a fragile heart, right? If you truly think she’s your equal, then try defeating her. She only has half a heart left—go prove yourself against her.” The demon laughs, “If you lose, I’ll destroy your precious Millie… and all the villagers along with her. Do you accept?” Zaden says, “I accept. But you’re a demon—how can I trust your word?” The demon answers, “I don’t even need my full strength to defeat that weak-hearted girl. Go… worry about your woman and your villagers.”
As Zaden is lost in thought, we see the demon standing behind him. The demon says, “How dare you think, you worthless human, that I would agree to your terms? I will not let your and this priest’s little conspiracy succeed. You dare try to deceive me, you weak, pathetic mortal?”
The demon suddenly attacks Zaden, catching him off guard. The force of the strike leaves Zaden stunned and disoriented. The demon growls with a twisted smile, “You and that priest planned to bind me in ropes and drag me to the church, didn’t you? But how could you forget— that church became defiled the moment I entered it. Now your so-called holy place belongs not to your God, but to me. And it is in that very church, under this cursed night, that I will end your Millie. I will flood all your lives with darkness—forever.”
The demon attacks Zaden and begins drinking his blood. Zaden loses consciousness and falls to the ground.
The demon attacks Zaden, then turns on the villagers, draining souls with his breath. He declares, “Now you all will die—no one can save you. If this priest couldn’t save his own daughter, how will he save you? Tonight, by killing this innocent girl Millie, I will establish my eternal reign of darkness over your village.”
As the demon reaches the church, his body suddenly begins to burn with divine fire. He screams in agony, writhing in pain. “How is this happening to me?!” he cries out, unable to believe that his dark magic has failed inside the sacred space. His shrieks echo as he writes, powerless in the presence of holy ground.
The demon snarls at the priest, “Foolish priest! How could you forget—your daughter’s life is bound to mine. If I die, she dies too. Our pact is broken now, and I will take her with me. Your so-called God won’t be able to save her even today. I will drag her into the abyss and make her suffer for eternity.”
“Father, Zaden, and all the villagers — please forgive me,” Millie said through her tears. “Because of me, you all lived in fear and pain. But after today, your lives will be filled with peace and light. Thank you, Zaden… for being a part of my life. I will never forget you. We’ll meet again someday… I love you.”
And with that, she smiled through her sorrow — perhaps knowing they might reunite in another lifetime.
Father Aurelius said, “I understand now, Zaden. It’s God’s divine plan. When that demon drank your blood, it entered Millie’s body—that’s why she regained consciousness at night. Because of Millie, you were able to come to this church. You
both are each other’s strength—I finally realize that.” Hearing this, Millie slowly came back to awareness. Father Aurelius continued, “But Zaden, you know Millie’s heartbeat is still linked to that demon. If it leaves, no one will be able to save her.”
Suddenly, Millie’s body begins to burn again. She says, “Zaden, forgive me. Father, I will always be grateful for what you endured for me. Now, I must go. Everyone, stay happy and keep remembering me. The villagers weren’t all that bad—always see that demon with hatred, not me. Now, I must leave. Zaden, Father… goodbye.”
Next, we see the demon emerging from Millie’s body. Millie is unconscious, groaning in pain. The demon says, “Priest, I’m taking your daughter with me. Didn’t I tell you? Your God will never save this worthless girl. Your only chance was to obey me. Now, I’m leaving her body. You and your Zaden will never see Millie again.”
Suddenly, the fire in the church begins to die down. We see Millie still alive, though very weak. She calls out, “Father, Zaden, where are you? I need you, Zaden. Please come quickly.
Where are you both?” Everyone watches in amazement. The fleeing villagers stop in their tracks. It seemed like a miracle from God that despite the demon’s departure, Millie was still alive.
Zaden, you know why Millie is still alive even though the demon has left her body? Now I understand—you are not an ordinary man; you are a vampire, but with a good heart. That’s why you could never go out in the sunlight, and why you thirsted for people’s blood. Millie’s heart didn’t need light to beat—it needed love, which neither I nor her mother could give her in childhood. Later, she found you. Even after the demon left, her heart beats for you. And let me tell you, son, as a vampire, you can never truly die. Because of this, Millie will always be happy, and now she can live as a normal person—living with you.

Millie replied, "Do you know me, Zaden?"

At that moment, a fierce dust storm approached from the direction of the tree. Without thinking, Zaden pulled Millie into his arms to protect her. Just moments before, Millie had thought that Zaden was a very cold-hearted person. But now, she felt a sudden calmness; she couldn’t say anything. She, too, wrapped her arms around him. It was a completely new experience for Millie—one of happiness and peace she had never felt anywhere, at any time, before.
She wished she could stay in Zaden’s arms forever. Slowly, the storm seemed to calm down. Zaden gently pulled his arms away from Millie and said, "Sorry, Millie. The storm was strong, and I didn’t know what I was doing."

Millie smiled a little and said, "Zaden, some things are meant to be shared in private, with special people—just like we do when we go to God's house (the church). These things can’t be made public, can they?"
Zaden replied, "For some people, the roof of their house is enough, but for others, the sky itself is their roof. And those who are truly special, even in a crowd, will hear and understand."
He said this and gave a slight smile. Just then, the sound of the church bell could be heard from outside, and the rain had finally stopped.

The sounds from the church stopped after a while. People began to walk out from the church, heading toward the outside.
Father Aurelius, from a distance, watched Millie and Zaden together. His face was completely expressionless, devoid of any emotion. Without a word or gesture, Zaden stood up as soon as he saw Father Aurelius and walked away into the dense trees.
Millie was confused, wondering if Zaden had left because he had been with her instead of attending to his own work.
Father Aurelius then asked Millie, "Millie, what were you doing with that stranger?"

Father Aurelius responded, “Millie, you are very innocent and naïve right now.
Father Aurelius said, “Millie, I had warned you, didn’t I? Not to associate with strangers. By staying with such sinful people, you’re becoming a part of their sins.” There was a faint smile on Millie’s face as she replied, “God has brought me to Zaden.
He is the light that God has written for me.”
Father Aurelius responded, “Millie, you are very naïve. If you truly respect me, stay away from Zaden.”
But here, we see that Millie is lost in her thoughts of Zaden. It seems that Father Aurelius’ words are not affecting her at all.

(It’s now night, and a thick darkness has enveloped everything...) (Outside the church, the scene...)
Outside the church, we see Father Aurelius, with blood dripping from his hands. Wrapped in a blanket, someone stands in front of him.
Father Aurelius says, “I have always followed your words. I have fulfilled every request you made. Then why aren’t you letting these people live in peace? Now, you will cause no more harm. Here, I will quench your bloodthirst with my own blood today.”

.
Then, that mysterious figure removes the blanket and takes the blood-filled glass from Father Aurelius' hands. It is then revealed that the figure is none other than Zaden.
Zaden says, “Aurelius, the blood of a wicked priest like you will never be enough for me. These innocent people have not yet seen the true face of your cruelty. This bloody rain should not stop. It is for your own good."

"The scene of the village at night."
"At night, Millie is standing with an elderly woman from the village. Millie's eyes are lifted upward, while the elderly woman's eyes have turned pale. It seems as though she is under Millie's control, and Millie is whispering something in her ear."
"At 4:00 in the morning, outside the "Outside the church, with the sound of a crossbill's voice in the background."
"People have gathered, staring at an elderly woman whose face shows no expression. It seems as though she might no longer be of this world, but her eyes are still alive, filled with fear of someone. After a while, blood starts to trickle from the elderly woman's mouth. The crowd is now in shock, horrified by the sight."
Amen.”
"People are saying, 'Whatever is happening, this is very wrong, Father. These events seem to have no end.' Father Aurelius responds, 'I understand your concerns. After all, we are all one. Those who have suffered are like my own. I too feel great sorrow. I will soon seek guidance from God and find a solution to this problem. Please leave me alone for a while, all of you.'"
"Time rewinds twenty years, revealing Father Aurelius as a young man, standing beside his wife, Adain. In their arms, they hold a beautiful, sweet little girl whose large, disappointed eyes are filled with tears. Both Father Aurelius and Adain appear deeply sorrowful. The girl's mother has lost consciousness, overwhelmed by despair, as she has lost all hope in life. Adain, in her grief, says, 'You’ve always prayed to God, always left the family to stay in His refuge. Then why has your God given us such pain?'"
"God, you have played with my heart and my emotions. I will not let You take my daughter's life, even if it means I have to walk down the wrong path. To save Millie, I will forget You and sever all ties with You. I will no longer have any connection with You."
("Father Aurelius, walking down the path, his heart heavy with resolve and desperation, moving forward as if driven by a force greater than himself.")
"As Father Aurelius walks along the path, an unusual, terrifying, and otherworldly figure appears before him. The figure is immense and exudes a raw, powerful energy. Father Aurelius loses his composure, overwhelmed by its presence. The figure speaks, 'Aurelius, your God will never help you. He is weak, helpless, and powerless. You will never save your daughter’s life through righteous means.'
The figure then conjures a light from his hands, placing it into Father Aurelius's own. 'This,' the figure says, 'is a small fraction of my power. If you want to keep your daughter’s heartbeat alive, you must place this light into the heart of a soft, innocent soul. As long as this light resides in their body, your daughter’s heart will continue to beat. In other words, the reason your daughter’s heart will keep beating will be because of the soul into which you place this light.'”

(In the dense forest, Father Aurelius)
"In the dense jungle, Father Aurelius spots a small child, crying alone. He calls out, 'Come here, child. Come to me.' The little boy, drawn by the light emanating from Father Aurelius's hands, walks toward him.
Father Aurelius thinks to himself, it would be better to place this magical light into this abandoned child than in any villager. No one will ever know the connection, and I will keep this orphan with me. From today, your name will be Zaden. With your name as my shield, I will control the villagers with the power of my love."

"Suddenly, Father Aurelius sees Adain with Millie, who has now grown older. It has been years since Father Aurelius embarked on his search for the light to save his daughter’s life.
Father Aurelius says, 'Millie, your smile will always remain, for your father has found the light that saved your life. Adain, don't worry about Millie anymore. You both need to leave this village for a while. I have many questions to answer about how Millie recovered and how the fire broke out in the church. You must leave as quickly as possible.'
With that, Adain and Millie bid Father Aurelius farewell and leave, their departure heavy with unspoken words."

(In the present day)
("Father Aurelius is thinking in the jungle.")
("Father Aurelius is thinking in the jungle.")
"Father Aurelius says to God, 'God, I have sinned. I strayed in my selfishness. Please forgive me, if possible. Whatever punishment you give, I accept it.' Father Aurelius thinks to himself, I have quenched the devil’s thirst for blood forever. The way lives are being lost in this village, I am the one responsible."
"Father Aurelius searches for Zaden and finds him deep in the dense jungle, surrounded by thick foliage. The light barely penetrates through the trees, and the air is unnaturally cold. Zaden, hidden among the shadows, clearly dislikes the light—he only ventures out when the sun is hidden from the sky.
Father Aurelius, fuming with anger, says, 'Coward, you're hiding here. You were more powerful than even God, you devil. You’ve taken so many lives, and you’re still not satisfied!'
Zaden responds, 'Aurelius, are you now going to teach me the difference between good and evil? You who spilled innocent blood in the name of God?'
Father Aurelius replies, 'You, demon, misled my heart. It was you who quenched your thirst with the blood of the innocent.'
Zaden then retorts, 'Then don't go back on your words. Keep fulfilling my demands, Aurelius.'
Furious, Father Aurelius snaps, 'I won’t listen to you anymore. You’ve tormented these villagers enough. Even if my daughter Millie’s life is lost, I will no longer do your bidding.'"

"Father Aurelius, hearing this, breaks down. He falls to his knees before Zaden, his hands clasped in prayer. 'It was my mistake, Zaden. But don't punish these villagers for my sins. I’ve already lost so many of my people, and now I might even lose Millie.
Please, forgive me for my wrongs and stop this in the name of God.'
With tears streaming down his face, Zaden cries, 'Father, I am innocent. I haven’t taken anyone’s life. Please, believe me.'"

"In a fit of rage, Zaden rips off his clothes and throws them aside. He begins to think that if the devil resides within him, then perhaps he must burn himself in the sunlight. Without hesitation, he steps into the sunlight, and immediately, he begins to scream in pain as the light sears his skin.
In agony, he cries out, 'God, what have I done to deserve this? I am not a killer of the innocent! What have I done wrong?'
Then, in a moment of clarity, he calms down and thinks, 'Even though the devil resides within me, it’s because of him that Millie is still alive. If the devil leaves me, Millie’s life could be in danger. Perhaps I should listen to Father and leave for the sake of the villagers. But as long as this devil stays inside me, Millie will be safe.'"

("Late at night, Father Aurelius..."
"We see Father Aurelius stepping out into the night, searching for something. In reality, he was on the hunt for Zaden. He believed that, for once, Zaden could be trusted, but the devil within him was treacherous. He was addicted to the blood of the innocent, and it wouldn’t be easy to make him leave. Father Aurelius decides that Zaden must be eliminated, so that the devil inside him vanishes as well.
He knew that doing so would mean Millie's death too, but he could no longer risk the lives of more innocents. Father Aurelius whispers, 'Protect Millie, God. I couldn’t be yours, but she grew up under your selfless guidance, in your shadow.'"

"Father Aurelius steps out of the church and finds Millie standing in his path. Her eyes are strangely tilted upward, as if she's not fully conscious.
Father Aurelius asks, 'Millie, what are you doing here at this hour? How did this happen?' Realization hits him. 'I told Zaden to leave the village. This must be the devil’s influence.'
He folds his hands in prayer and says, 'Millie, forgive me. All of this is my fault—my sins are affecting you and the villagers.'
Millie says nothing and walks away into the night."

Zaden, seeing the lone girl, suddenly attacks her. Due to this sudden attack, the girl falls right there. A look of sadness appears on her face, and Zaden, too, feels great sorrow for his attack. Overcome with grief, he screams, “Oh devil, I won’t let you kill this girl!” Yet, Zaden cannot control himself and, sinking his sharp teeth into her neck, begins to drink her blood.
With Zaden's attack, blood begins to spill from the girl’s neck. As we watch, it becomes clear that, despite his countless attempts, Zaden is unable to fight the demon within him. A wave of regret washes over him. In his torment, he contemplates ending his own life. But then, as if a spark of hope remains, he remembers—he must live for Millie."
"Upon inspecting the area, they find that once again, someone in the village has mysteriously died. It’s difficult to tell whether the woman is alive or dead. The villagers say, 'God, what is happening under Your watch? Help us, God. Everyone says, 'Let’s go to Father Aurelius. Our village is under some kind of curse.'"
(Father Aurelius arrives at the scene of the incident)
"Father Aurelius, upon seeing the scene, is deeply saddened. He says, 'All of this is happening because of me. I am solely responsible for this.' Tears begin to flow from his eyes. 'I want to tell you all something today. Listen carefully, everyone. And if, after hearing me, you find me guilty, I am ready to accept whatever punishment you decide.'
Just then, a little girl standing next to Father Aurelius asks, 'Father, you are everything to us. How can you be wrong?'
Father Aurelius, looking at her, replies, 'My child, I have wronged all of you. I want you all to step back—parents, children—and let the others come forward.'.

This happened many years ago. When I was living with my family, serving in this church—
I used to serve God. I placed Him above even my own family.
I was overjoyed the day God blessed me and Adain with a tiny, beautiful baby girl. But ever since my daughter was born, I had never seen a smile on her face.
Her gentle eyes were always filled with tears.
That’s why I called Doctor Thomas to our home.
He told us that Millie’s heart wasn’t developing properly. Her heartbeat would sometimes stop, and then suddenly start again.
I had devoted everything to God, yet He gave me and my family this sorrow as a gift. In despair, I left for the city, determined to save my daughter’s life.
There, I met a mysterious, magical figure. He gave me a light—a light that I was supposed to place into the body of an innocent.
And I placed that light into a child I found in the forest—Zaden.
But he made a condition: if he saved my daughter, I would have to give him the blood of innocent villagers.
I was to mix poison into the holy water and make you all drink it, causing your mouths to pour out blood.
And in return, I would offer that demon, Zaden, his drink every night.

The people began to speak among themselves, 'How could Father Aurelius do such a thing? We held him in such high regard, considered him one of our own.'"
"Some children step forward to Father Aurelius. Whether the people still had faith in Father Aurelius or not, these children did. They ask, 'Father, you made us drink poison, but it only causes vomiting of blood, right? And all those who drank it are still alive.
But those who died never drank the poison. How could this be, Father?'"

Father Aurelius replies, 'How could this be possible? I must test the holy water. Someone go to the church and bring me a glass of the holy water.'"
"Father Aurelius tests the holy water and says, 'This is impossible. This isn’t poison. It’s a medicinal herb called kaikomako, found deep in the jungle. It helps expel the dirty blood from people's bodies.'
Everyone, bewildered, says, 'Father, we don’t understand what you are saying.' Father Aurelius replies, 'I asked Zaden to bring me this medicine, and Zaden is knowledgeable about such herbs. He brought me this water.'
'I don’t understand anymore—Is Zaden a demon or a deity? If Zaden were a demon, he wouldn’t drink dirty blood. He needed the pure blood of the innocent.
And I too have betrayed. My blood wasn’t pure either—he drank that on that night. Zaden cannot be a demon. Things are becoming more tangled now.'
'I must meet Zaden, no matter what.

(Next, we see Millie)
"God, it feels like my soul is separating from my body. Why am I so afraid? Zaden, where are you? Why have you left your Millie when she needs you the most? You too, like my parents, left me. I was so happy when you were with me, but today, I’m sad and hopeless. Where is your light now, God?"
(Suddenly, the light from the sky fades away, and dark clouds begin to cover the light from all sides.)
"Then, we see Zaden, lost in thought. Suddenly, how have the dark clouds come forward? Zaden says, 'The demon inside me awakens at night. That means, right now, I’m just an ordinary man. No one is in danger during the day.'
'Millie, I should probably go to Millie. The sunlight has gone away. We all know that Zaden never comes out in the daylight.'
He turns and heads back toward the village. 'Millie, I’m coming.'"

"Millie, I want to say something to you today. Please listen to me carefully.
Millie, what you think of me, that is not who I am." Millie, confused, asks, 'What do you mean, Zaden?'
Zaden replies, 'Millie, I am a demon. Every dark night, I thirst for the blood of the innocent. I am responsible for these unjust deaths.'
Millie says, 'Zaden, you are the light. You can’t kill anyone. I have complete faith in my God. No matter what anyone says, I know that you are the light in my darkness.'
Zaden says, 'Millie, understand what I’m saying! One day, I could bring harm to you too. I cannot live in the light, that’s why you’ve never seen me in the sunlight. Understand, I am a demon.”

"‘Zaden, you are the light.’
But then, we see that despite the sunlight, Zaden is unaffected. Perhaps it is the darkness in Millie’s life that is protecting him. And yet, it is this very light of Zaden that is driving away the darkness in Millie’s life.".
Millie says, “Look, even the light has begun to shine, and you’re unharmed. I was right, wasn’t I?”
He continues, “Millie, whenever I’m alone, I feel incomplete. But when you’re with me, I feel whole.”
Millie replies, “Zaden, I don’t care what the people of this world say. Wherever you are, I will be with you. Now we’ll go far away from this village, and spend the rest of our lives together.”
Zaden says, “Millie, I’ve realized that God sent me here for you. It’s not my destiny to live away from you—it's to live with you. This sunlight is proof of that divine truth. You are mine, Millie. I love you too. I’ll never leave you. Whatever comes our way, we will face it together—side by side.”

Millie: “You never called me daughter before, Father. Why today?” Father Aurelius says, “Millie, you are my daughter. I am your unfortunate father. In your childhood, to save your life, I gave shelter to that demon in this village. And forgive this father who couldn’t give you a father’s love and because of whom your mother had to suffer so much.” Millie: “Father, but today I am very happy. I have my father and my Zaden.
Now there will never be darkness in my life. We will all live together like a happy family.
Now there will never be darkness in my life. We will all live together like a happy family.
Zaden, why are you forgetting—I too once acted out of selfishness, and you can see the result of that in front of your eyes today! Selfish intentions always lead to harm, Zaden.
And don’t tell Millie anything about what I just said. Tonight, we will all gather outside the church. We have to destroy that demon as soon as possible. I’m going to call everyone to the church—you and Millie also be there.
And don’t tell Millie anything about what I just said. Tonight, we will all gather outside the church. We have to destroy that demon as soon as possible. I’m going to call everyone to the church—you and Millie also be there.
Don’t be sad, Zaden. How could you believe my words like that? You’re the same Zaden who once said—‘a storm will come that will destroy the world we built together.’ And this is that storm. But in the next life, this broken world will become beautiful again.”
Zaden is deeply hopeless and just listens to Millie. Then he says, “I don’t care about anyone else, but I won’t let anyone play with your life, even if I have to give up everything.”
Millie says, “Zaden, if you truly love me, then stand with my father. I swear on my love for you. He has suffered so much in life because of me. Now I just want to see him and the villagers happy. Will you do that for me, Zaden?”

Millie is now alone. She thinks to herself, “God, my father and I have always served You and praised Your name. Then why did You leave me alone today? What was my fault? What was missing in my prayers that You couldn’t hear me? But I am not hopeless. I only ask You that in the next life, make me an ordinary person—someone who exists only for Zaden. I have wronged his feelings, but I understand that what You will is what must happen. God, after I’m gone, please take care of my father, Zaden, and the villagers. I have no complaint against You.”
( At night)
We see that all the villagers have gathered. Everyone is talking to each other, wondering who the demon is that’s been living among them. They say, “Today we’ll find him and destroy him forever, and free this village from his curse.” Father Aurelius asks, “Is everyone here? The villagers… Zaden and Millie too?” The people reply, “Yes, Father. Everyone from the village is here, and all exits are blocked.”
In the crowd, Father Aurelius says, “Zaden, wherever you are, come to me. I need to speak with you alone.”
Zaden, listen—everything is happening just as I said. Stay with Millie. If you see the demon, don’t let it escape. We’ll tie it up with ropes together, and tomorrow morning, when its powers are weak, we’ll take it into the holy church and burn it. In the morning, God is stronger, but at night, it can be dangerous to us. But this is only a part of the demon—hidden inside a human. It can still be stopped now.
(Just then, a voice comes from the direction of the church — “Father Aurelius, where are you?”) Please come quickly!...
(Oh God, we can hear people crying and screaming!)
(Oh God, we can hear people crying and screaming!)
Zaden, come here—you understand what I’m trying to say, right? Zaden says, “Yes, Father. That demon… is it inside Max? He took Millie with him? We have to find them. Don’t worry, Father, I’ll go look for them right now.
Wherever that demon is, I’ll catch him and bring him to you.”
Something was happening to Zaden, and he couldn’t understand what it was. He thought to himself, “I’m losing control, God. Am I the demon? I’m starting to crave blood again… What should I do? I don’t know what’s happening. Should I tell Father?
But where is Millie? I need to find her first. I have to go to her. Right now, she’s missing, and finding her is the most important thing.”

In the very next scene, we see Zaden floating in the air—he is not in his senses. Father Aurelius says, “Zaden? You… the demon? It was my mistake to trust you. You’re the one who hid my daughter Millie and Max. Tell me—where are they?”
Just then, we see people turning around and looking behind them—they are all terrified and scared. They don’t understand what is happening in front of them. “Father?
Father? Listen, look behind you, Father! What is going on here? Please come quickly, Father!”
Father? Listen, look behind you, Father! What is going on here? Please come quickly, Father!”
Just then, we see Millie. Her hair and clothes were completely white—she looked very different from before. Her eyes were terrifying and scary. Millie had completely changed. She now looked like a mysterious girl. She was no longer ordinary like before.
Millie says, “You foolish people are still living with your faith in this priest? Listen, priest—do you really think you can stop me? In front of your God, I will kill all of you. Foolish priest, you made a deal with the demon—how could you forget? I have kept my promise. Remember the boy you brought here? Zaden, do you remember? Even you know there was selfishness in Zaden’s heart, so how could I enter his body? But there was a soft, pure body—your daughter Millie’s. A weak little priest, the one with the softest and most fragile heart was your daughter. And there was no better body for me to live in than hers.”
You…?”
Zaden says to Father Aurelius, “I’m right here, Father. But… that demon was inside me, wasn’t it?” Father Aurelius replies, “I have many questions for you too, Zaden, but right now we must stop that demon.” Then Father Aurelius adds, “Yes, now I remember—when I was channelling the divine light into your body, there was an explosion in the church. At first, I thought it happened because of you. But now I
realize… it was because I had defiled Millie’s pure body with the demon’s presence. That’s why God became angry with me.” Zaden asks, “What do we do now, Father?” Father says, “Zaden, go and talk to Millie. Distract her. Just like we planned—we will go ahead with it. Keep her engaged while I make the arrangements to capture her.”

(The demon, while trying to mislead Zaden.)
Zaden? It’s me, your Millie. Do you really want to kill me? Didn’t we promise to live together forever? This foolish priest—the one who took you away from your family—would you really kill me for him? Zaden replied, “My heart doesn’t beat for you anymore. You are not Millie… you’re a demon.” The demon said, “Alright then, let’s make a deal. You can have Millie during the day, and I’ll have her at night. Use her body however you want.” Zaden answered, “That’s exactly what separates you from Millie. You’re a pathetic demon who will burn in God’s light. If you're truly powerful, then face me in this form at dawn, during God’s hour. We don’t need powers to destroy you—right now, you’re strong only because it’s dark. But anyone can win with power.
Let’s see what happens in the light.”

Zaden thinks to himself, “Did I do the right thing or the wrong one? But I know, Millie… you’ve defeated the darkness within me—so you can fight this demon too. I have complete faith in you. You can defeat this evil. God and I… we are both with you in this battle.”
The demon runs toward the church, shouting, “God, your daughter Millie is coming to you! You wanted her to visit your church with joy every day—now I bring her to you. If you truly have power, save her now!” He laughs, mocking God and challenging His strength.
“I've arrived at your doorstep, God! Where are you hiding?” the demon roars. “Come out and save your daughter if you can. Let it be decided tonight—who truly holds the power! Or are you afraid of me? You know well you are powerless in the darkness of night. First, I’ll sacrifice this priest’s weak, worthless daughter here… and then I’ll wipe out this entire village.”
On the other side, we see Father Aurelius, deeply broken and filled with despair. “God, help my daughter and the people of my village—only You can save us from this demon now. I may have strayed from Your path, but I’ve served You faithfully for years. Please reward that service by saving this village. If You don't help us today, everything will be lost. And Millie’s faith in You will shatter forever if You fail to protect her now.”

Just then, Father Aurelius and the villagers arrive at the church and witness the scene. Overwhelmed with emotion, many begin to cry. Father Aurelius falls to his knees and says, “O Lord, you are truly merciful. I was wrong to doubt You. Please forgive my mistakes.” The villagers fold their hands in prayer before the divine presence.
One of them asks, “Father Aurelius, this church was cursed… then how did the demon become so weak here?”
Father Aurelius replies, “This is the grace of God. You all forgot, this church was unholy, yes—but Zaden, by risking his life, helped us. By pretending to poison us, he actually gave us sacred herbs that cleansed this place. It was Zaden who made this church holy again. He is truly blessed.”

T
At that moment, we see something astonishing — Millie, too, had regained consciousness, even in the darkness of night. She was crying and screaming in pain, yet her voice carried strength. Facing the demon, she said, “I’m not afraid of you. Do whatever you want with me, but I will not let my father or the villagers suffer because of me. Take me with you if you must, drag me to hell itself — but spare these innocent lives.”

Just then, we see Zaden entering the church. Tears filled his eyes. Everyone stared at him because they had never seen Zaden inside the church before. Zaden said, “Millie? You decided to leave me so soon. Remember what you said—that I am your light? And today, even though I’m here, you’re ready to go into the darkness.” Slowly, Millie was losing consciousness, tears streaming like light from her eyes.
Millie said, “Zaden, you and I both know that when this demon leaves me, my heart will stop beating.”
Zaden replied, “Millie? You know I tried to enter this church before, but failed—my body started burning. But today, look—I’m here, safe in this church, right in front of you. This is a sign from God that I am the light you’ve been searching for.”

There’s a powerful explosion inside the church, and we see Millie’s entire body engulfed in flames. Everyone is fleeing outside in panic. Zaden asks Father, “Was I really the light for Millie? Then why couldn’t I save her?” Father Aurelius replies, “Zaden, it was all my fault, son. This happened because of this weak priest.” Zaden asks, “Why didn’t God help Millie?” Father Aurelius answers, “This is not God’s fault—it’s mine. I defiled this church by sheltering the demon here.”
(Zaden runs quickly and reaches Millie’s side.)
Zaden rushes to Millie’s side, and suddenly, a radiant light fills the church. Lush green plants begin to bloom around them, and Millie’s body starts to regain its former beauty. Now fully conscious, Millie embraces Zaden and says, “I told you, ‘Only after breaking apart can a person truly blossom.’” Moved, Zaden replies, “Yes, Millie, you were always right. And now, this light doesn’t burn me anymore. From now on, we will always be together, just as you said. I love you, Millie.” Tears of joy fill Millie’s eyes as she responds, “I love you too, Zaden.”.

Hearing this, they both embrace each other lovingly, and seeing this emotional scene, tears fill the eyes of everyone around. Millie says, “No matter how deep the darkness in my life may be, you will always be the light guarding my heart.”
