That one person doesn't just change your life they completely dismantle it. It’s terrifying how thousands of people can leave you untouched but one single person can arrive and expose every single wound you’ve spent a lifetime trying to hide from yourself.

I think we cross paths with many people throughout our lives, but not every encounter creates a connection.

Sometimes, it's not about how long we know someone or how frequently we interact, but about how naturally they connect with our thoughts, feelings and perspectives.

A rare connection can make us look at certain things differently, help us discover unfamiliar sides of ourselves and leave an impression that stays long after the moment has passed.

Perhaps that's what makes certain people unforgettable. It's not necessarily their presence, but the difference their presence makes. ​
