The New Love Language❣️

Maybe the new love language is silence. It feels like we don’t talk anymore—we calculate. Hours pass before we send a message, and we’re told not to question why. We’ve turned love into a scoreboard of silence. Ghosting, we think, protects our pride. Hiding our feelings feels like self-preservation, but deep down, we know it’s not really protection—it’s just a shield.

Vulnerability is misunderstood as weakness, and consistency is seen as “boring.” The one who gives the least is somehow admired, but that’s not strength—that’s just playing it cool while avoiding connection.

We’ve grown afraid to care, to feel deeply. We'd rather wear the mask of being unbothered than face the messiness of honesty. But real strength? It’s being raw and real, without fear. It’s making someone feel safe, not lost in a sea of uncertainty.

I’m not here to fight for a spot in someone’s life. I want clarity. I want to build something beautiful, not chase something broken. I crave love that doesn’t feel like a performance or a game of guessing.

I want to be understood, not left unread. I’d rather be too much than be invisible. Maybe I’ll scare people away with my intensity, but I’d rather be loved for all that I am than quietly vanish into silence.

And one day, when I meet the right person, they’ll see me not as “too much,” but as everything they’ve been waiting for. Because sometimes, the deepest love is found in the most honest spaces. So, I’ll wait for the one who isn’t afraid to meet me there.

Yeah, it’s crazy how love has shifted from being something pure and spontaneous to something we feel we need to 'figure out.' It’s a sad reality, but maybe that’s why real connection feels so rare these days.

Beautifully written, and very relatable.

Some aren't afraid to care but rather scared that if they show they care that they will be taken advantage off... and unfortunately there are many people who would take advantage of someones good heart without a care in the world.

Powerful words ✨ True love isn’t in silence or games, it’s in honesty, clarity, and the courage to feel deeply

Beautifully written, @MoonFlare
Every word felt true.

In My view, love was never meant to be silent.
Real love speaks through honesty, not ego.

Silence may protect pride, but it only distances hearts.

I would rather be real and felt than quiet and forgotten ✨

Thank you so much for your kind words. I couldn’t agree more. There’s a real fear of being taken advantage of when you show up with an open heart. It’s painful when you give freely and realize not everyone values that sincerity. But I guess that’s where trust comes in, right? We can’t let the fear of being hurt stop us from being genuine.

I believe there’s someone out tere who will see the value in a good heart and cherish it for what it is, not for what they can get out of it. It’s just a matter of finding the right person who respects that vulnerability. But until then, I’ll keep holding onto the belief that love that’s authentic, no matter how risky, is always worth the chance. Thanks again for sharing that perspective—it’s a reminder that we’re all in this together, trying to make sense of what love truly means.

Thank you so much for your kind words ✨ You’re absolutely right—true love thrives in honesty and clarity, not in silence or mind games. It takes courage to truly feel and be vulnerable, but I believe that’s where the magic happens. When we allow ourselves to be raw and real, we open the door to something genuine and meaningful. Here's to waiting for a love that feels just as real as that courage to love deeply.
