The next day...
Sam and Vanessa had packed everything they needed for their journey and left the league of knights outpost , they walked through the busy streets of Destiny City as the sun shone bright. "You remember what the ancient Kastyrian symbols said?" Asked Sam , "yes of course , it said something about the crystal of Kastyria" said Vanessa as they walked onwards through the city.
"Let's get to the transport stop and catch the next omni-skytrain for Kastyria" said Sam as he smiled at Vanessa , several minutes later they had finally arrived at the transport stop. "Hmm" said Vanessa , "what is it?" Asked Sam , "it looks like the omni-skytrain doesn't go to Kastyria" said Vanessa , "hmm let me see" said Sam as he read the timetable , "yes you're right" said Sam.
"Hmm , Thalassia City is the nearest place to Kastyria so we will have to ride the omni-skytrain there and then travel on foot the rest of the way" said Vanessa. Five minutes later the omni-skytrain to Thalassia had arrived and Sam and Vanessa climbed on board , they sat down and relaxed beside the window as the omni-skytrain launched into the sky , "I hope the others are doing ok with their training" said Vanessa.
"Yes I'm sure they are" said Sam as Vanessa rested her head on his shoulder , twenty minutes later the omni-skytrain was halfway through the journey as it sped onwards through the sky towards Thalassia. "Looks like we will be there soon" said Sam as he held Vanessa closer , Sam looked out of the omni-skytrain window beside him and watched as the birds flew past it.
Twenty minutes later...
The omni-skytrain has finally arrived at the transport stop in Thalassia City , "were here time to go" said Sam , a few moments later they climbed down from the omni-skytrain and walked onwards. "The wind is so fresh and cool here" said Vanessa , "yes I like it , i remember when we first met here" said Sam as they walked through the streets , "it was a beautiful day just like today" said Vanessa.
The cool wind brushed against their skin as they felt the warmth of the sun , Vanessa's long dark hair moved a little in the wind as her brown eyes glimmered in the sunlight. "Maybe we should stay here a little while before we travel onwards to Kastyria" said Sam , "yes I would like that a lot" said Vanessa and smiled at him as the smell of food filled the air.
Sam and Vanessa spent a few hours in Thalassia City and enjoyed themselves as they ate some ice cream and shared a large glass of zeroberry juice. The blue and white flags and banners around the city moved as the wind blew a little stronger , "this cool wind feels so good" said Sam as Vanessa took a sip of the zeroberry juice , a short time later they had finished their juice and ice cream then headed towards the beach.
A few minutes later they had arrived at the beach and stood close to the shore , Sam closed his eyes and felt the wind flowing around him as Vanessa felt the warmth of the sun against her olive coloured tanned skin. They held each other for a few moments and then decided to move on , "let's go , hopefully we can reach Kastyria before nightfall" said Sam as he held her hand.
Moments later Sam and Vanessa left Thalassia City and travelled onwards to Kastyria , as they walked onwards Sam and Vanessa had reached a the woods. "Looks like we'll have to go through these woods to reach Kastyria" said Vanessa , "I have a bad feeling about these woods" said Sam as he drew his sword , a moment later Vanessa also drew her sword and then both of them walked into the woods.
"Keep an eye out for anything unusual" said Sam as they walked slowly through the woods , as they walked deeper into the woods they heard a sound coming from the shadows. Sam and Vanessa moved swiftly behind a tree and watched as the bushes amongst the shadows began to move , a few moments later a rabbit burst out of the bushes and ran past them , "it's just a little rabbit" said Vanessa as she and Sam moved away from the tree.
Suddenly a large creature leapt towards them , "what is that!?" Said Sam as he and Vanessa gripped their swords firmly , there in front of them stood a large creature with green scaly skin and red eyes. "It's a Basilisk!" Said Vanessa , "a what!?" Said Sam , "it's like a snake but a lot bigger , don't let it touch you it's extremely venomous" said Vanessa as the Basilisk slowly moved towards them.
