The League Of Knights: Part 14: The Abyss
Sam , Vanessa and the other league of knights members swam deeper into the sea swimming through the colourful coral reef. As they swam deeper Sam pointed towards the darkness , a few moments later they all grabbed their sea lanterns and switched them on , they continued to swim deeper towards the darkness until they saw large broken pieces of stone in front of them.
Sam suddenly stopped swimming and pointed his arm forward , "come on this way were almost there" thought Sam as he urged the others to follow. A few minutes later they had entered the dark abyss and stopped , Sam raised his hand and signalled for them to stop then a moment later Sam handed the crystal of Kastyria to Vanessa.
Zephyr , Violetta and Valeria stayed still at the edge of the darkness and watched as Sam and Vanessa swam onwards towards , a few moments later Sam and Vanessa had stopped next to some strange looking plants , Sam pointed towards a spot on the seafloor and nodded at Vanessa , a second later Sam and Vanessa swam down a little and then stopped once more.
Sam reached down to his belt and grabbed the trowel and then started to dig a hole , Vanessa and the others watched as Sam dug a hole into the seafloor. Several minutes later he had finished digging the hole and swam backwards a little , Vanessa swam down a little and placed the crystal of Kastyria in the hole as Sam grabbed a large rock , moments later Sam placed the rock down beside the hole and then grabbed his trowel again.
Sam filled the hole back in and covered the crystal of Kastyria with the sand and stone debris around it , after he had finished burying the crystal Sam placed the large rock on top of where he had buried it. A couple of minutes later Sam and Vanessa rejoined Zephyr , Violetta and Valeria and began to swim back up towards the surface , as they made their ascent towards the surface something had caught Zephyr's breathing equipment.
Air began to escape from Zephyr's equipment as the others continued their ascent to the surface , Zephyr swam towards the surface slowly as he started to run out of air. Sam stopped suddenly and looked around , "where's Zephyr?" He thought , a moment later the others stopped and looked around with him , Sam pointed towards the surface urging the others to go as he swam downwards.
A few minutes later Vanessa , Violetta and Valeria had reached the same took their breathing equipment off , Sam could just about see Zephyr in front of him and swam faster. "I'm coming hang on!" Thought Sam as he swam towards Zephyr as fast as he could , Zephyr became disorientated and dizzy as his air started to run out , a few moments later Zephyr passed out just as Sam reached out and grabbed his arm.
A few minutes later....
Vanessa , Violetta and Valeria sat on the beach and waited for a sign that Sam and Zephyr were ok , "where are they?" Said Vanessa worriedly. "I hope they get here soon" said Violetta , "me too" said Valeria , then suddenly Sam burst out from the water and dragged Zephyr towards the beach , Sam took his breathing equipment off and said , "something damaged his breathing equipment".
Zephyr lay there on the sand unresponsive as Sam moved back a little , "do something!" Said Valeria , suddenly Violetta kneeled down onto the sand and began pressing Zephyr's chest and breathing into his mouth. "Don't die on me!" Said Violetta and then took a deep breath and breathed into Zephyr's mouth once more , a moment later Violetta pressed his chest again as the others watched anxiously.
"Come on breathe damn it!" Said Sam as Vanessa stood beside him and held him close , suddenly water spurted out of Zephyr's mouth and he breathed deep, "you did it!" Said Valeria , then suddenly Zephyr suddenly began to have a seizure , his arms and legs shook as his mouth started to foam , "what the hell is going on!" Said Sam , "I don't know..."said Violetta.
The League Of Knights: Part 15: The Sunset
Moments later Vanessa saw a large fish laying at the edge of the shore , "look , what is that" said Vanessa , Sam rushed towards the fish and inspected it. "It's got a piece of Zephyr's breathing equipment attached to it" said Sam , "what is that?" Asked Valeria , "it's a reaper shark! , look at Zephyr and see if there's a mark on his body" Said Sam , Violetta checked Zephyr's body and found a cut on the back of his neck.
"He's got a cut on his neck!" Said Violetta , "can we help him?" Asked Vanessa , "I'm sorry , there's nothing much we can do" said Sam , eventually Zephyr's seizure had stopped and his breathing slowed down , as the others say on the beach and waited , "I have an idea!" Said Sam , a few moments later Sam dived into the water and pulled up some aquaroot leaves then swam back to the surface.
Sam walked towards Zephyr and placed the aquaroot leaves on his wound and held it there , "get me something I can use to tie this aquaroot leaves to his neck" said Sam. Vanessa went into her pouch and took out some bandages then walked towards Sam , Vanessa began to wrap the bandages around Zephyr's neck keeping the aquaroot leaves in place , "it's done" said Vanessa.
"Now we wait" said Sam as he an Vanessa sat beside Valeria and Violetta , a few hours later Zephyr had opened his eyes and breathed steadily. "Look he's awake!" Said Violetta , "ugh...what happened.." said Zephyr , "a reaper shark damaged your breathing equipment and cut your neck" said Sam , "you're going to be ok now" said Valeria. "That's a relief" said Zephyr as he held a hand over his eyes and took a deep breath.
A few days later...
Sam , Vanessa , Violetta , Valeria and Zephyr were in Thalassia City on holiday , Violetta , Zephyr and Valeria were sat inside a restaurant as Sam and Vanessa sat on the beach. "The weather is always so perfect here" said Vanessa , "it's peaceful here too" said Sam as he held her close , a short time later Violetta , Zephyr and Valeria had joined Sam and Vanessa and sat behind them as the sun began to set.
Violetta , Zephyr and Valeria layed down and closed their eyes as Sam and Vanessa watched as the golden sunset moved slowly below the horizon. "I think we should go solo and move here" said Sam , "yes I would like that a lot" said Vanessa as she smiled at him , Sam and Vanessa held each other closely and watched as the sunset began to fade away and the soft glow of the orange coloured streetlights filled Thalassia city.
