"Hand over the crystal now!" Said Thalta as he continued to point his gun at Sam and Vanessa , Vanessa reached into her pouch and took out the crystal as Sam slowly reached for his sword. "Come on get on with it" said Thalta , "don't give it to him!" Said Sam , "you have no idea how dangerous the crystal of Kastyria is" said Vanessa as she held it in her hand , "give it to me!" Said Thalta.
"This crystal can destroy entire city's with just a fraction of it's power" said Vanessa as she slowly held her arm out , Thalta reached out with his hand and took the crystal from Vanessa. He held it out in front of himself and stared at the glowing white light inside it , Sam moved his hand fast like lightning and drew his sword and then swung it through the air towards Thalta.
Sam gripped his sword firmly and watched as the blade sliced through Thalta's flesh and cut his forearm off , "AHHHH" screamed Thalta as half of his arm and the crystal fell to the ground and blood sprayed onto the grass. Thalta twitched and pulled the trigger of his gun and fired a photon bullet into the air , Vanessa drew her sword and swung it forward and knocked the gun out of Thalta's hand.
Sam quickly picked up the crystal and put it into his robe pocket and stood beside Vanessa , "shall we?" Said Vanessa , Sam nodded at her and moment later they charged towards Thalta. Seconds later Sam and Vanessa swung their swords towards Thalta , their swords tore through Thalta's clothes and slashed through his flesh as Sam and Vanessa moved fast around him.
Their swords cut through his flesh like a knife through butter , blood spraying across the ground , moments later Sam and Vanessa put their swords away and watched as Thalta fell to his knees. "Let's finish this together my love" said Sam , "together!" Said Vanessa as she smiled at him and then a moment later they thrust their left arm's forward and unleashed their hidden blades and thrust them into Thalta's neck and chest.
Moments later they pulled their hidden blades out of Thalta and watched him collapse , a pool of blood soaked the grass around Thalta's lifeless body as he bled out. A moment later Sam grabbed Thalta's shirt collar and dragged his body towards the tunnel and then dumped it inside , "let's get out of here" said Vanessa as she placed a hand on Sam's shoulder.
A few minutes later Sam and Vanessa made their way back towards Thalassia City , they passed through the woods once more and decided to camp there for the night. The next morning they continued to travel onwards towards Thalassia City , after finally arriving there they waited at the transport stop for the omni-skytrain to Destiny City to arrive , "the omni-skytrain should be here any minute" said Sam.
"I can't wait to get back and take a hot shower" said Vanessa , several minutes later the omni-skytrain had arrived and Sam and Vanessa climbed on board. As Sam and Vanessa sat down they began to talk about the crystal , "we must decide what to do with this crystal" said Sam , "we could destroy it" said Vanessa , "hmm we could do that but it's an ancient artifact" said Sam.
"Hmm I guess , it would be a shame to destroy it , we should hide it somewhere nobody will ever find it" said Vanessa as the omni-skytrain sped through the sky at high speed towards Destiny City. Moments later the omni-skytrain suddenly shook a little , "what's going on?" Said Sam , "it looks like a storm has hit us" said Vanessa as the omni-skytrain continued to speed through the stormy weather.
"Hold onto something , I think this is going to be a bumpy ride!" Said Sam as he fastened the safety straps , Vanessa tightened her safety straps any held onto the seat firmly. The rain smashed against the omni-skytrain windows as thunder rumbled and the lightning flashed amongst the dark clouds , five minutes away from Destiny City lightning burst out of the dark clouds and hit the omni-skytrain.
"We've been hit , were going down!!" Said Sam as the omni-skytrain started to fall through the sky...
