Epic Legend
After their meal Lynx and Valeria left the tavern and stayed at the inn until morning , as the sun rose the next morning Lynx and Valeria walked to the stables and took his horse. They climbed onto the horse and rode out of Starcore city and travelled north , they rode down the path until they reached the woods and then stopped , in front of them was a sign pointing to different places , "so where do you want to go" asked Lynx , "hmm" said Valeria as she decided carefully.
"Hmm Arctryx coast sounds interesting" said Valeria , "ok then Arctryx coast we go" said lynx as he smiled , they rode down the path through the woods to Arctryx coast. They rode fast through the woods as the wind grew stronger and blew the tree leaves , an hour later Arctryx coast was finally in sight , "there it is Arctryx coast" said Lynx , they could see an old tower from where they were , they rode onwards towards for a short time until they finally reached the coast.
They rode into the small town and stopped by the old tower and then climbed off the horse , the old tower was partially covered in glowing moss and a small amount of ivy vines. "How old is this tower?" asked Valeria , "hmm nobody really knows how old it is , it's been here for centuries at least" said Lynx , moments later they walked around the town and headed to the harbour , suddenly they saw something strange in sea close by , "what was that.." said Valeria.
Lynx looked closer at the sea and then a large creature emerged from the water , "it's a sea dragon" he said , Lynx and Valeria drew their sword and wand and held them firmly. "Raaawr" roared the sea dragon and then it swam towards them as fast as it could , moments later the sea dragon burst out of the water and leapt towards Lynx and Valeria , the sea dragon swung it's arm at them , it's sharp claws almost touched them , "that was close" said Lynx.
Valeria held her wand tightly and unleashed a blast of magic and fired it at the sea dragon , the magic blast hit the sea dragon hard and made it stumble , the sea dragon shook its head a little and then fired a blast of water energy towards Lynx and Valeria. They swiftly moved out of the way just in time , Lynx ran towards the sea dragon and swung his sword through the air , the sword clashed against the sea dragons tough blue skin and cut through it.
The sea dragon roared as it's purple blood dripped from it's wound , it lunged forward towards Lynx and tried to grab him in it's mouth , suddenly Valeria unleashed another blast of magic and fired it at the sea dragon. "Raaawr" roared the sea dragon as the magic blast hit it's head , the sea dragon stumbled as blood continued to drip out of it's wound , Lynx jumped onto it's back and swung his sword down and thrust it into the sea dragons back , the sea dragon roared again as Lynx's sword went deeper into it's back.
Lynx pulled his sword out and then jumped onto the ground , the sea dragon suddenly lunged forward as Valeria fired another magic blast at it's back. The sea dragon moved it's head closer towards Lynx trying to bite his head off , Lynx quickly ducked and then thrust his sword upwards , his sword went straight through the sea dragons jaw and into it's head , moments later he pulled his sword out and watched as the sea dragon slumped to the ground and slowly fell into the sea.
The sea dragons body sunk under the water and deep into the darkest depths of the sea , "let's sit down for a moment and catch our breath" said Valeria. Lynx and Valeria walked to the fountain nearby and sat down for a little while to catch their breath , "ready to look around Arctryx some more?" Asked Lynx , "yes I'd like that" said Valeria as she looked at him and smiled....
