The free bird

On thee morning it woke up
As to do nothing to do
Flying throgh the mountain
Flying through the field

As it felt hungry looked
Down on the field in search
Of grains to pick
The field was empty and so it flew

More towards north and the
It saw a field filled with grain
And then up on sudden a net was
Over its wings

It shaked and shaked but nothing
Much happened and thee evening
Came so came the rat
But don't think it was a time to escape

The farmer to came same time
He caught the bird
And the rat ran away
Don't always think of the possitive only

The reality is always harsh but
You have to know it
Because its all that really matters
Dream are not always meant to be true

While reading, I kept thinking the bird would escape just like in the traditional Panchatantra fables, but the twist at the end completely caught me off guard. This mismatch between dreams and harsh reality is what life is all about. A truly realistic piece of writing!
