Three days later...
Engineer Alyssia entered the storage room to get some supplies, "ugh why do these light's keep flickering" said Alyssia as she searched through a container for part's. After a few minutes she found the parts that she needed and headed back to the power room then started some repairs, the sound of the generator humming filled the room as the light's continued to flicker.
"It would be good if those light's stopped flickering while I'm trying to work..." Thought Alyssia as she replaced some damaged components. Twenty minutes later her work was done, "ah finally, time for a break" thought Alyssia as she stood up and admired her work, a few moments later she left the power room and headed towards the canteen to get something to eat and drink.
A short time later she entered the canteen to find it empty, "everyone else must be working still.." said Alyssia as she walked towards the counter. Moments later the base shook once again as a quake hit it, "ugh those damn quakes, I'm starting to wish I was back home" said Alyssia, a moment later Jack entered the room, "ah Jack, how's things going?" Asked Alyssia.
"They're going ok, no injuries for me to treat" said Jack as Alyssia picked up some food and a drink, then suddenly Jack's body twisted and shook a little, his eyes became red and symbols appeared on his face. "Ugh I wish the food was better, I could go for a burger right now" said Alyssia as Jack moved slowly towards her, his red eyes glowing a little and a sinister grin on his face.
Alyssia turned her head and looked towards Jack and then saw him, "what the hell!?" Said Alyssia as she jumped from her chair, "Jack...what are you doing..." Said Alyssia. Moments later Sam and Vanessa entered the canteen, "get back, there's something wrong with Jack!" Said Alyssia as Jack turned around and looked at Sam and Vanessa, "bloody hell what happened to Jack!?" Said Sam with a look of surprise.
Suddenly the computer spoke, "he shall rise from the darkest depths and you will worship him..." Said the computer, "what the hell is going on!?" Said Vanessa. Moments later Captain Cross and Zari entered the canteen, "alright don't move!" Said Captain Cross as Jack turned around and walked towards Alyssia, "what happened to Jack?" Said Zari, "I don't know, Vanessa and I came in here and found him hanging around Alyssia" said Sam.
"Go get your weapon Sam!" Said Captain Cross, a moment later Sam ran out of the room and went to get his gun as Jack grabbed Alyssia by her neck. "Do something...help me..." Said Alyssia, Captain Cross, Zari and Vanessa moved towards Alyssia to help, Jack reached out his other hand and unleashed a burst of energy sending them crashing against a wall, Captain Cross, Zari and Vanessa lay there on the floor as Jack gripped Alyssia's neck tighter.
Moments later, "crack!!"...Jack crushed Alyssia's neck and broke it killing her instantly, "no!" Said Zari, "damn it!" Said Captain Cross. A few seconds later Sam entered the room with his gun and aimed it at Jack, "shoot him!" Said Captain Cross, then suddenly Jack's body began to shake and twist itself and a few moments later he collapsed onto the floor, Sam moved towards Jack slowly and cautiously as he held his gun firmly.
"Be careful!" Said Vanessa, several seconds later Jack moved and placed a hand on his head, "ugh what happened, what's going on..." Said Jack as he slowly stood up. "You killed Alyssia!" Said Zari, Jack turned around and saw Alyssia's lifeless body laying there next to him, "it wasn't me" said Jack, "we saw you kill her" said Vanessa, "it wasn't me I swear, I didn't..." Said Jack.
"Don't move!" Said Sam as he kept his gun pointed towards Jack, "wait...I...there was a voice in my head, it was talking to me before I blacked out..." Said Jack. "What voice?" Asked Captain Cross, "it was him...it was pure evil..." Said Jack, "alright meet me in the drill room in fifteen minutes" said Captain Cross a she slowly walked out of the room, Zari and Vanessa picked up Alyssia's body and took it to the medical bay whilst Sam escorted Jack to the drill room.
Seven minutes later in the medical bay...
"That's two now, first Harmony dies and now Alyssia..." Said Vanessa as she helped Zari put the body into cryostorage, "hmm I wonder if Jack killed Harmony as well" wondered Zari. "It's possible but there wasn't any evidence" said Vanessa, "yes I know, let's get to the drill room quickly" said Zari, moments later Vanessa and Zari left the medical bay and walked through the corridors towards the drill room as fast as they could.
Meanwhile in the drill room...
Captain's Diary Entry 4: Engineer Alyssia, deceased with honours, that's two death's now, there is something wrong with Jack but we don't know yet. However if I had to guess then I'd say he had been possessed, hopefully that's not the case but I have a feeling that's exactly what's happening. End of Diary Entry.
A few minutes later Sam and Jack entered the drill room, "alright Jack sit down and don't talk..." said Sam as the drill cut deeper and deeper into moon's ground. A few minutes later Zari and Vanessa entered the drill room, "were here" said Zari, "ah good, I have my theory about Jack" said Captain Cross, "oh do tell us" said Vanessa, "I'd say Jack was possessed when he killed Alyssia" said Captain Cross.
"Yes, I must have been!" Said Jack, "shut up unless you want me to shoot for now.." said Sam as he continued to point his gun at Jack. "Maybe Captain Cross is right" said Zari, "hmm, I don't know, I guess so.." said Vanessa, "either way Alyssia and Harmony are dead, I don't want anyone else dead so I will do what I have to if necessary..." Said Sam, several moments later an alarm went off.
"Intruder alert, intruder alert" said the computer, "what?, how is that possible?" Said Zari, a few minutes later a man appeared in the drill room. "Hello there I'm Kal, I had to make an emergency landing, where am I?" Said the man, "don't move!" Said Sam, "oh come on now, there's no need for that, my ship is repairing itself so I'm stuck here until it's finished" said Kal.
"It's alright Sam, he seems friendly enough" said Captain Cross, "thank you, so what's happening here eh?" Asked Kal, Captain Cross explained everything that had happened and what they were doing there. "Ah brilliant!, a mining operation, however two people have died and strange things have been happening" said Kal, "yeah that's right" said Sam, "well it seems like I arrived here just in time to help!" Said Kal.
"I guess so..." Said Vanessa, "so how's the drilling going?" Asked Kal, "it's going ok, it's almost at the set coordinates" said Captain Cross. Moments later the monitor flickered and an image appeared, "look the monitor!" Said Jack as he pointed towards it, "what the hell is that!?" Said Zari, then suddenly the image vanished, "I don't know...but I'm going to find out!" Said Kal.
