Jack continued to walk through the base's corridors until he reached an airlock, he opened the airlock door and then went outside onto the surface. A short time later Harmony was passing through the same corridor and the base computer began to speak, "he has awoken..." Said the computer, "computer what do you mean?, did someone go out onto the surface?" Asked Harmony.
"He bathes beneath the black sun..." Said the computer, "what are you talking about?" Said Harmony, a moment later the window shutter opened itself and Harmony saw Jack outside on the surface, "what the!?, how is he on the surface without a space suit!?" Thought Harmony as she looked on in disbelief, Jack slowly turned around and then stared straight at her with his red eyes.
"What the hell, how can you be out there without a spacesuit!?" Said Harmony as Jack signalled her to come outside onto the surface. Harmony refused and then a moment later Jack reached out his hand and the base began to shake, Harmony tried to open the other door where she had entered from but it wouldn't budge, "let me out!, let me out..." Said Harmony as she panicked.
She turned her head around and then saw cracks appearing in the window, "open the door!, let me out!" Screamed Harmony. Several seconds later the window shattered and Harmony was sucked out into space, Jack stood there with a sinister smile on his face as the black sun continued to pull in rock's with it's gravitational force.
Meanwhile in the control room...
"Hold onto something everyone, this is a rough quake!" Said Captain Cross, the crew held onto anything they could find until the quake's had finally stopped. "Is everyone ok?" Asked Captain Cross, "Vanessa and I are fine Captain" said Sam, "just about" said Alyssia, "I'm alright Captain, what happened?, that was the strongest quake yet" said Zari, "I'm checking now, section thirty-one is lost, it must have collapsed in the quake" said Captain Cross.
"There was nothing important in that section fortunately" said Sam, "wait what about Harmony and Jack, where are they?" Said Alyssia. "Harmony and Jack where are you?, please respond" said Captain Cross, after moments of silence a voice came through, "it's me, I'm alright Captain" said Jack, "good to hear that Jack, have you seen Harmony" said Captain Cross.
"No I haven't seen" said Jack, "hmm ok, all crew come to the control room immediately" said Captain Cross, several minutes later the crew had arrived at the control room. "Have the rest of you seen Harmony anywhere?" Asked Captain Cross, "no I haven't" said Alyssia, "nor have I" said Zari, "we haven't seen her either" said Sam and Vanessa, "maybe she's in the laboratory" said Zari.
"No she's not I passed by the laboratory on the way here" said Alyssia, Captain Cross leaned back in his chair then looked up and pressed a button to open the roof shutter. As the roof shutter opened Captain Cross could see something floating outside, "I've found Harmony..." He said as he pointed upwards, "oh no!" Said the crew, "she must have been in section thirty-one during the quake" said said Sam.
"The base has never lost a section before until now" said Vanessa, Captain Cross looked through the security footage to see how much could be salvaged. "I couldn't salvage much.." said Captain Cross as he played the footage, the crew watched the footage of Harmony screaming and banging at the door and then being sucked out into space, "that was... horrible.." said Zari as the sound of the mining drill echoes throughout the base.
"Alright everyone back to work, I'll sort things out here..." Said Captain Cross, moments later the crew went back to work as the captain filed a report for the records.
Captain's Diary Entry 3: Doctor Harmony Quinn, deceased with honour's, Harmony died in a horrible way but at least it was quick so she didn't suffer. I just hope that no-one else dies out here, however...the drilling is still on schedule and we're hoping for some progress soon. End of Diary Entry.
Meanwhile in the power room...
Engineer's Diary Entry 2: We lost Harmony today, it took us all by surprise, it looks like we'll have to be more careful and aware of what happens around here. End of Diary Entry.

Science Officer Al'Kalal's Diary Entry 2: I can't shake the feeling that something isn't right here, an accident like this has never happened before. I just hope nothing else like that happens. End of Diary Entry.

Security Officer's Diary Entry 1: What happened to Harmony was terrible, I'll have to check the security systems thoroughly. I'm not sure I trust the others but I do trust Vanessa, however I will be keeping a close eye on things around here. End of Diary Entry.
