The next morning, 9:45 am...
Salazar and Kate were still in bed after having sex three time's since yesterday afternoon, "I think it's time we got out of bed" said Salazar as he held Kate close. "Can't we just stay like this a little longer?" Said Kate, "hmm I have an idea, wait here I'll be back soon.." said Salazar as he climbed out of the bed, a few moments later Salazar entered the kitchen and began making breakfast for them both.
Several minutes later the aroma of egg's, sausages and toast had filled the cabin as Salazar poured some orange juice into a couple of glasses. "Alright just have to plate everything and I'm finished" said Salazar whilst Kate still lay in bed waiting, after a couple of minutes Salazar returned to the bedroom with the breakfast on a try and then sat on the bed beside Kate.
"Mm that smells good " said Kate as Salazar moved the tray between them, a moment later Salazar picked up his plate and glass. Kate took a few sips of her orange juice as Salazar placed his plate on his lap, Salazar placed his glass of orange juice on the bedside table next to him and then began to eat his breakfast, "this tastes good!" Said Kate, "I have this almost every morning at home" said Salazar.
"So you're good at cooking as well as being an artist and businessman" said Kate, "I'm good at many things" said Salazar after swallowing a little food. "What else can you do?" Asked Kate, "well I do like to play music as well" said Salazar, "oh what instrument do you play?" Asked Kate, "the electric guitar, a harp, oh and also the violin" said Salazar as he cut through a piece of egg and sausage.
"They must've taken a while to learn!" Said Kate, "hmm a little, I had a good teacher" said Salazar, "that's nice" said Kate. "My sister Lily plays the flute" said Salazar, "I'd like to know more about your sister" said Kate, "there's not to much to tell but she's an archaeologist" said Salazar, "you mean like that guy in the movie?" Said Kate, "Indiana Jones?, no she's more like Lara Croft" said Salazar.
"How so?" Asked Kate, "well she doesn't always wear the right clothing when she's out in the field, and she's also a little trigger happy on occasion" said Salazar. Kate laughed a little as Salazar finished his breakfast and orange juice, "alright time to get out of bed" said Salazar, "yes thanks for the breakfast!" Said Kate, fifteen minutes later Salazar and Kate had showered and dressed themselves for the day.
Salazar opened the curtains and then saw the thick layer of snow outside, moments later he opened the cabin door breathed in the fresh air. "At least it's stopped snowing, well for now at least.." said Kate, "let's go for a walk before it snows again.." said Salazar as he walked outside, a few moments later Kate followed him outside and then began to walk around the forest.
As they walked around the forest, the wind began to howl loudly, "I don't like the sound of that wind" said Kate, "neither do I, it's normally a sign of a blizzard coming.." said Salazar. Twenty three minutes later snow began to fall thick and fast as the wind howled and grew stronger, "we need to get back to the cabin before the blizzard comes!" Said Salazar, a moment later Salazar and Kate turned around and walked back the way they came.
Halfway back to the cabin the wind has grown strong and the blizzard has arrived, "it's to late, the blizzard is here sooner than I thought" said Salazar as he and Kate continued to walk onwards. A short time later Salazar and Kate lost their direction and stopped, "I think we're lost" said Kate, "wait I see light over there" said Salazar as he pointed ahead of them.
The blizzard grew stronger as Kate and Salazar trudged through the thick snow towards the light.
