Four days later...
It's now 25th December 2912 and getting closer to the new year, Sam and Vanessa were in the canteen eating their breakfast. "Not my usual breakfast but this is pretty good" said Sam as he scooped up some cereal, "I have my usual breakfast, a vitamin and mineral shake" said Vanessa, "not my thing but doesn't sound bad" said Sam, "I added some strawberries in there, it helps with the taste" said Vanessa.
Ten minutes later Sam had finished his cereal and Vanessa finished her breakfast shake and they left the canteen, they walked slowly through the corridors and started to talk. "So it's the holiday's, did you have anything planned?" Asked Vanessa, "hmm not to much, I got presents for the crew but they're dead so I don't know what to do with them" Said Sam, "I understand" said Vanessa.
"I could give them to you, I'm sure you could get some use out of them" said Sam, "if you're sure" said Vanessa,,Sam smiled at her and said "yes I'm sure, you might like them" said Sam. After a few minutes or so they arrived at the community room and went inside, Sam walked towards the presents then picked them up and sat down on the sofa beside Vanessa.
"Here you go, hope you like these" said Sam as he handed the presents to her, a moment later Vanessa began to unwrap the presents and wondered what was inside. She finished opening the first present and looked at it in excitement, "cool, a leather coat" said Vanessa, "I got that for Hex but hopefully it'll fit you" said Sam, Vanessa unwrapped and opened the second present.
"What's this?" Asked Vanessa, "it's a laser rifle, the most advanced weapon invented yet" said Sam, Vanessa looked at the laser rifle closely and examined it. "I did test it before I wrapped it up, it work's perfectly" said Sam, Vanessa unwrapped and opened the third present and took it out of the box, "this necklace is so beautiful" said Vanessa, Sam helped her put the necklace on and smiled.
"It looks perfect on you" said Sam as the gold and emerald necklace glimmered in the light, suddenly Sam remembered something. "Doctor Piper!" Said Sam, "what about her?" Asked Vanessa, "she wasn't with us when we killed Hex, Will and Amadeus or whatever they were possessed by" said Sam, "you're right, but it's been four days since then, why haven't we seen her?" Said Vanessa.
"Hmm maybe Amadeus killed her before the others" said Sam, "it's possible, especially if she was near the game's room when Amadeus broke into the base" said Vanessa. "Computer locate Doctor Piper" said Sam, "Doctor Piper in not in the base" said the computer, "hmm strange" said Sam, "we should check ourselves incase the computer is mistaken" said Vanessa, "hmm stay here I'll look" said Sam.
Forty-five minutes later...
Sam had returned to the community room and sat on the sofa beside Vanessa, "I searched the entire base I couldn't find Doctor Piper anywhere" said Sam. "Then we can assume that Amadeus killed her as well, most likely vaporised her and that's why you couldn't find her" said Vanessa, "yes I'm sure you're right, time to open the last present" said Sam, Vanessa unwrapped and opened the last present and then smiled.
"A plush bear, it's cute" said Vanessa, "that was meant for Doctor Piper, she liked plush bears" said Sam, "I like it too, thank you" said Sam. Several hours later it was time for their holiday dinner that they had prepared earlier in the morning before breakfast, Sam and Vanessa sorted out their holiday meal and placed it onto the table and then sat down.
"Happy holiday's" said Sam and Vanessa as they prepared themselves to eat.
