The Spartan army may have been small

Well I do appreciate the bravery of the Spartans but I salute the 30 odd soldiers of Saragarhi who fought against an army of 10,000 Afghans. Why do we disregard Indian history. I salute all valiant acts all over the world. At the end of the day they were all soldiers defending their country and honor. Who can forget the battle of Longewaala , where the Indian commander was told to abandon his post yet he stood still with all his soldiers and protected it till the morning with minimum arms and ammunition. General Patton one said " It's better to sweat in peace than to bleed in war "
